Great wheel chock!
This wheel chock does exactly what I was hoping it would do. It hold my motorcycle upright and in place which is great for storing, cleaning, etc. It is heavy duty and keep my bike stable. It is adjustable to fit 17โ (which my bike has) to 21โ wheels. It does take a little force to move the motorcycle in and out of the chock as you have to push it over the pivoting cradle when moving it in and out of it. I was concerned that the chock would slide forward when pushing the bike into it but it stayed in place. I also used this chock on a trailer when transporting my Harley Davidson Road Glide. I just screwed the chock to the wooden floor of the trailer. It kept the front wheel in place when using tie downs. It does require simple assembly. This works great for me and would recommend this wheel chock.

Well built, made changes but would buy again.
I bought 2 of the Extreme Max 5001.5010 Motorcycle Wheel Chock stands now. I was pleased with the material thickness, and quality of the bends, could stand to have about 6mm longer bolts as the teflon on the locking nuts just touched the teflon. I changed out the bolts to a longer bolt. Once totally assembled I was not happy with how the pivot point moved, it seemed a bit tight for my likings. I have a stock of shoulder bolts so I reamed the holes out to 1/2" and used shoulder bolts for the pivot. This made it much easier to put the bike on the stand and pull the bike off the stand. This is a me thing, most everyone else could get by. If your going to use the stand on concrete or pavement i recommend putting a rubber mat under the stand to prevent it from sliding.

Good, But Avoidable QC Issue
I ordered two of these to mount in a wood-floor trailer for an upcoming trip. I opened and assembled the first with no difficulty. When I opened the second (sealed) box, no hardware box, no instructions. The instructions were no big deal, but the missing metric hardware was a real bummer. Because I was limited on time for the trip, I ended up spending several bucks at the local hardware store for replacement 10 mm metric bolts and nylock nuts to keep to my time constraints. This is a failure of a basic quality control process and should result in a partial refund. The chocks themselves are sturdy, easy to assemble, and will do the job. Fit and finish are good for a simple, inexpensive welded steel piece. The lateral bar is about 23" wide and gives this chock a nice, wide stance. That said, my bike has a 90/90-21 tire (KLR 650), and my friend's is 100/90-19 (F650GS). With these narrow tires, the bikes do flop to the side - the chock will not hold either bike up by itself, but they will suit my purpose in a trailer where the bikes are going to be strapped down securely anyway - I anticipated this would be the case, and so I am not disappointed. If you are looking for a chock that will hold a narrow tire motorcycle up on its own, look elsewhere. There are four holes for front-back adjustment to the pivoting chock. The farthest back one is too far for my 21" tire, but the next one seems adequate for my tire. My friend's 19" tire is way off the ground on the third hole (counting from the rear) and so we are using the second hole for his bike, also.

Heavy duty, well designed, and works great.
I had purchased a Harbor Freight wheel chock but when I got ready to mount it in my new trailer I was concerned about the light duty design. So I returned it and bought the Extreme Max 5001.5010 chock. What a huge difference! This thing is heavy duty and well designed. I installed the cradle in the second hole from the back for my Harley Road King and it fits perfectly. I was concerned about it hitting the fender skirt which other reviewers had a problem with, but it cleared it fine and really holds the bike securely while I tie it down. I also went to the hardware store and bought (4) 3/8-16 threaded Tee Nuts (see picture) to bolt the chock down so I can quickly and easily unbolt it when I use the trailer for hauling other stuff. I read a couple reviews that said the included assembly hardware was substandard, even a couple said the bolts were hollow. The hardware that came with mine was good quality metric branded 8.8 hardness and I tightened them up with a 3/8" impact driver with no problems.

Good value
Just received. Prompt shipping! My initial reaction after assembly and fitting to my HD Ultra Limited is: Well built. Easy assembly. I've not mounted on trailer and used it, more to come. Predict it will be fine. Suggestion: Use carriage bolts so you have rounded heads of the bolts inside the assembly. Otherwise, all good!

Very Well Made and My 2003 Goldwing Fits Perfectly
I ordered the Extreme Max 5001.5010 Motorcycle Wheel Chock Sept 3rd 2024 and it was delivered on the 5th. Very fast delivery considering I live in Canada and I ordered it from Amazon USA because it would arrive sooner and it was cheaper. Anyways... I have a 2003 Honda Goldwing and I did read at least one review of someone who had a Goldwing and they said it fits. It fits perfectly. I put the rocker arm on the second hole in from the back and it was the right one. The arm doesn't even come close to hitting the lower fender extension. I took a bunch of pictures as it shows just how well my bike fits in the chock. The chock is extremely well made. The metal is thick and it arrived with no damage, even though the box was a bit beat up. It costs more than a lot of other Motorcycle Wheel Chocks but I wanted a good one that I could fasten to the floor in my bike shed and wasn't too long. I do recommend this item.

Sturdy and well built, but not so good fasteners, and bad cradle design...
I bought this wheel chock to use it for a Road King on a trailer. The bike has the standard front wheel and fender. First, the bolts included are crappy and about 1/4" shorter than they should be. I believe the cradle was improperly designed because I tried all possible configurations but the cradle interferes with the back of the fender on all of them. I even tried with another bike but I got similar bad results. I noticed the pivot points on the cradle are higher than the straps that hold the tire. In any pair of holes, when loading the bike, the front wheel goes up to about 2.5 inches from the base, and when locked by the cradle, the tire does not touch the base. The tire would be floating above the base, which I don't feel comfortable transporting the bike that way. In addition, the straps that make the cradle are kind of pointy (not round as the section of all tires are) which prevents the cradle to hold the tire properly. I tried the cradle from an old chock I have, but it didn't work because this chock is 8 inches wide compared with 9 inches of the old one, but I found that if Extreme Max uses a cradle (kind of square) from another model they have and make all holes lower (about 1 inch up from the bottom) it would work very well for different tire sizes and minimal or no interference with lower fenders. I ended up returning this wheel chock because I could not use it.

Quick and easy
Can adjust for larger tyres, so will handle most motorcycles, keeps bike up straight and feels exceptionally solid.

Strong easy to install unit and a great fit!
I had never hauled a bike in a trailer before and was nervous to use unfarmilliar equipment to haul my 2016 Road Glide Ultra, but it worked perfectly. The roads were far from perfect with lots of corners and the bike didn't move an inch. This sturdy wheel chock is a great value and I would highly recommend it!
