Excellent Replacement Upgrade Dyson v10/11 Power Trigger
You are reading this because your Dyson v10 or 11 won't power on, or does so intermittently. You've confirmed the battery isn't the culprit and research into this problem leads you to suspect a broken trigger.Guess what. Your problem is a broken trigger.Fortunately a bazillion aftermarket blow-molded replacement power trigger widgets exist with IMPROVED designs that significantly lesson--or outright permanently eliminate--the particular fatigue-related failure that vexes this OEM part.I purchased this specific aftermarket plastic replacement power trigger for $10 at the time I write this review. With the REQUIRED video assistance of YouTube videos, I performed the onerous chore of extracting the broken OEM power trigger from the power head. With the switch mechanism removed, swapping the plastic bits is a comparative breeze. Reassembly is tedious and not without a modicum of risk, but I managed. The v10 works perfectly, reliably, with every trigger squeeze.Bottom line:Buy this replacement part. It's improved design will likely outlast your vacuum.

Cheap fix
Dyson vaccum was not working right. Google said the plastic trigger could be broke. Ordered part and watched you tube video on how to replace. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Vaccum works great again. MAVA!

Great replacement for original trigger
I just installed the replacement trigger 2 days ago. Even though the process for changing the trigger isn’t the easiest. The trigger itself is proving to be reliable. It feels the same for me and would seem it might outlast the original trigger.

Needed to be sanded down
I got frustrated with this one not ngl but it’s better than buying the entire main body and cyclone replacement at Dyson for $95.99 plus tax.Bought the upgraded version but needed to sand down the part that pushed the charger foot significantly for it to work. It was thicker and heavier than the Dyson trigger so even though they’re almost identical in dimensions, the materials made it heavier enough to put constant pressure on the charger foot. I would simply put the battery back on without touching the red trigger and it would not stop vacuuming. Something to also consider is you need a T8 torx screwdriver (make sure it’s long and slender so it can reach the last screw to get to the red trigger).

Looks thicker than original.
Fit perfectly. Watched YouTube video for removal/installation

Upgrade from stock junk trigger. Time will tell if it last but it is thicker plastic
Visually looking at the new trigger its beefer than the one Dyson put in.Fits perfectly. It does take a little time to replace. You have to take the entire unit apart but well worth a cheaper trigger over another few hundred dollar unit. Time will tell if it will outlast the stock piece but it looks like it will.

Too thick
The part was too thick to move freely within the handle of the vacuum. Had to find another replacement and I didn't discover the problem in time to return this one.

It works
Really 4.5/5 stars, it works and fixed my issue. However, the holes on the sides were just a bit too small/snug so that the trigger didn’t snap back easily with the spring. I had to take a drill bit and very carefully make the holes a tiny bit bigger. Once this was done the trigger was very springy and worked as it should.
