Top of the LIne Cooling
Asus is known to make the highest quality computer products, unfortunately, with this reputation, they also have the highest prices. This is a great cooler, but I honestly can't say the increased price will cool your CPU any better than many of the lower-priced units. After all these coolers are simple "machines" They move solution through the pipes, radiator, and over the CPU to take heat from the CPU and dissipate it thru the radiator. Not really that much engineering involved. The only part that is not generic is the actual pump. Some have fans built in and some, like this one, have small screens to display various things - pictures, jifs, and info, such as the CPU temperature, etc. These I like to call "bells & whistles", they contribute nothing to the unit's cooling capability. It has become just a matter of your pocketbook and wishes.

Everything I have come to enjoy about Asus
This is so much better than the stock one that was installed with my PC. I instantly noticed after the installation that my CPU temp had dropped so much, and I was able to game again with no worries. Installation was easy if you follow the directions

Love the display
Great cooler. Keeps a 13600K at around 30 Celsius most of the time and displays it real time.. Some momentary fan noise when ramping ups.

Took a chance on a used aio
So I purchased a used like new ryujin ii 240 for my intel build like a month ago w/no rgb that came with everything looking brand new, so I decided what the heck seen the same model w/rgb for cheap i wanted for my am5 build when it came it was in the worst shipping possible no cushion everything worked fine but the main thing was it didn't come with an aio fan controller. Luckily i can return to amazon

Waste of time
Removing an AIO and replacing it is not fun, especially if you built in a small case like I did. The ASUS Armoury Crate software you absolutely need to use for this product to work as intended is terrible. It's super bloated and crashes my computer without any error messages after about 20 minutes every single time. Even reinstalling Windows and trying again with Armoury Crate without any other software that could cause conflicts results in the same errorless crash. Steve from Gamers Nexus calls Armoury Crate malware and reading concerning amounts of negative reviews online about it shows that Asus doesn't seem to care about improving it since it's apparently been like this for years. I rushed when I bought this and didn't take the time to properly research the software issues, so don't make the same mistake as me. I replaced this with the EVGA CLCx 240mm because I still want an LCD screen and so far it actually works great. I knew EVGA had a better track record when it came to software, and it is way less bloated and doesn't cause any crashes.

This is what you need!!
A screen on an AIO works great. I hope they can use a better panel because the LCD looking angle is really bad. The

Not recommended
Would not recommend at all. -Whirring (When gaming) -Buzzing noises (When gaming) -Fans get loud (Even on silent) It is quiet however when in Windows. ALT TAB back into again and buzzing is audible again, almost like GPU coil whine. I would stay away from this unit and get ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240 instead. I am reverting back to ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240, which is virtually silent. The screen was very good though, going to miss that. Price is high and overpriced. ARGB connection was pain and getting the fans to properly use RGB, fan controller that comes with it doesn't properly support ARGB i believe.
