Bright & shiny sound, old school bass guitar strings
I’ve been using Ken Smith bass guitar 5 & 6 string sets for more than 25 years, they are quite bright or metallic/shiny sounding when new. After a month or two of playing hard they mellow a bit. As a caution, don’t get too aggressive or they can break, normally near nut or bridge… perhaps not recommended for hard slapping/popping or those with a very heavy plucking style. I like these strings.
