Don’t know, we retuned ours as it was full of problems and non-existent tech support. I would stay away from this company made in China. Ended up getting a great a unit from Davis Instruments, made in California. (Purchased from Amazon) they have live telephone support and they could answer your question or recommend the best product for your boating needs.

Hello, does this system work without wifi connection? Does it store its data for upload later?

Sorry, no. It requires a GW1000 wifi gateway to work. It will not store data. Any other question, please contact us at support@ecowitt.com

Does the wind meter connect wirelessly to the gw1100 Gateway?

Yes. We have the wind sensor set up outside about 50 yards away. No wall in the way only screen. Works well.
