good upright bass stool
I am a double bass [upright] player and very happy with this stool so far. I have been using 27" wood stools my whole life and recently thought about how heavy they are and how they dont fit in my car. this stool is an almost perfect replacement. its light and very sturdy and folds up nicely, though its kind of a struggle to fold and unfold. I am sure i will figure out a technique. a very important thing is the rung is a good height for my left leg to hold bass up. I am 5' 7". yeah, its not super comfy but neither is a wood stool. its really sturdy and portable and not too pricey so I would recommend it for bass

Sturdy Folding Stool
Because I have a bad back that suffers when I stand for long periods of time I bought this to use while performing and teaching ukulele at ukulele festivals. I think I am going to really like it. It is sturdy, easy to open and flatten once you figure it out and it has a nice bar to rest a foot on, and the seat seems plenty wide. Plus- they send 2 extra rubber feet for the legs- I don’t know if that’s a sign that they may break easily, but they sent them. I’m 6’1 now (I’ve shrunk due to aging) but if you’re shorter read the height- it’s about 28” tall and it fits me fine, but might be too high for a shorter person. The handle is the front of the stool - that is the side of the foot rest.

Just the right height
This folding stool worked out perfectly for my needs. I play electric bass in a band with others of my advanced years. The drummer and keyboard player are seated but standing for the whole gig was tough for me. This allows me to take the weight off and still be able to play. Most other available stools are only 24" high, but the extra 4 inches makes this stool the right height for my needs. It's lightweight and foldable, so very easy to travel with. Sturdy and easy to open and close, it's a good value.

Not a pair!!!
The stool is nice but beware of the picture showing a set of two. Deceiving but it does say one chair.

Comfortable and takes up little space, good for art show tent. A bit difficult to fold.
Comfortable, takes up little space, light weight, sturdy enough. Good for art show tent. A bit difficult to fold.

Hard to open at first, but definitely worth it!
There is a spring loaded peg underneath. Pull the ring while opening. Mine only opened so far, then I had to put it against my chest and push to get it to click into place. To close, turn upside down, put your foot on the seat, pull the ring, and lift&push on the curved footrest. Sounds more complicated than it is (once you figure it out). After several times opening and closing it became easier to operate. SUPER happy with this purchase. I'm a big gal and like not having to worry about it collapsing under my weight. Easy to get up from too.

Apparently, this is a go-to for musicians, lol....
I'm a saxophonist, conductor and music teacher. I like having a stool, when I'm conducting (for rehearsal) and not every facility has one. At 28" this thing lets me sit at my normal standing height, which is particularly important when I'm not on a podium. I will say that if I were any shorter (I'm 5'11") I'd have to climb a bit. Not the most comfortable seat, but feels sturdy. Folds and unfolds pretty well (mind the pin lock under the seat). I also prefer a stool when I'm playing bari sax, especially for recording. Haven't used it for that yet - but my weight plus the horn should be well under the 330 lb. limit. I am amused reading down the reviews how many musicians bought this for similar purposes.

Cheaply made
Terrible product, I sent back the first one because it wasn't properly leveled and was wobbly no matter the surface, I thought it was bad luck, the second one got here and it had the same issue, which tells me, this wasn't a one time issue, it's a cheaply made product, will be sending it back again

Sturdy stool with a good height
Bought this stool for my mother to sit when she needs to do some food preparation work in the kitchen. The stool is very sturdy so I don't have to worry about her falling from the stool. It is just the right height for her so she can get in and out the stool very comfortably. The stool is foldable so it doesn't occupy space when not in use. I am happy with this purchase.

Easy to open and fold. Very sturdy. Prompt customer support..
Stool opened up a bit stiff. I pull the the retaining pin out as far as it woild go and was clear of the stop and no matter what I tried I could not get it to fold back up again. It is lightweight and just the right size for me at my kitchen counter. I am 6' tall and 220lbs and it seems strudyt enough. I have contacted the seller to find out how to fold this thing. I will update if I get a response or not. They promptoly e-mailed me a video showing how to fold it. Grasp by the handle. Put your foot on the stolls foot rest. Pull out the ring out th locking ring and then pull up on the stools handle. It's super easy.

Sturdy
I was looking for a collapsible counter height stool that I can use for food prep in the kitchen. This stool has a solid feel to it, a sturdy seat and locks into position when open. It folds down into a narrow footprint so I can squeeze it into my small space. I am returning it only because there were several large paint chips on the legs but I have already ordered a replacement because it is otherwise perfect for my needs.

Tall enough
Tall enough fits my kitchen island, and good size because I put it in the hallway.
