Fun to use
This is kind of fun to work with. I actually needed just a small amount for certain bread recipes I wanted to try, but I experimented with the recipe on the package yesterday after I received a reminder about reviewing it. Mixing it with water made a soupy sludge textured dough that quickly became thicker as I mixed it. Letting it rest for five minutes thickened it even more. I cooked little patties of it in a nonstick skillet as directed, but I couldn’t get them flat enough. My dough was probably a little too wet. I’m not sure what they were supposed to be because I seldom eat Mexican food, but they tasted really good with salt. The outside was crunchy and the inside was soft. It was really fun watching the dough thicken up. Like a science experiment. That alone made it worth buying, but I also enjoyed an interesting lunch with what I made.
