Just works - Tested on Thunderbolt 3
There is not much to tell about this. A pair of adapters but which made a HUGE difference on using my laptop. The USB cable does not stay in the middle of the mouse anymore and even appearing a small thing, makes a HUGE difference. I work on a hot desk office, which means every day I get a new desk, hence I can't change the cable, but this adapter solved the problem. It states as Thunderbolt 4 compatible, but could not test it since I only have thunderbolt 3 at the office.

the picture shows a connector with the C Female type USB body turned 90 degrees to the C male plug, whereas the part received was with both male and female parts oriented the same way. Useless for the intended purpose

It works well with my Insta360 X3
I was a bit skeptical before ordering this because most of the reviews seem to be from people who were given the device for free. But it turned out ok for me. I needed a 90 degree USB-C adapter of this type for my Insta360 X3 camera because when I attach the Mic adapter, the Rode cold shoe, and a Rode Wireless Go II receiver, it is physically impossible to fit a straight USB-C cable coming out of the mic adapter. (Sorry, I know this description would make no sense for anyone other than the few people who have experienced this issue.). It worked perfectly. I'm glad the product pictures had the dimensions marked. Before ordering, I was able to ensure that it would fit in the tiny space I had.

Works great, but watch out for orientation !!
I ordered (2) sets of these, usb C, to be sure I got the correct orientation. Where my rearview camera connects to my windshield, its up against the rear view mirror, so I needed a 90 deg. One of these has male portion parallel to piece, the other has it perpendicular. Make sure to pay attention to orientation!
