Great value. Great
Great starter (or even forever) knife. Sharp. Quality steel. Forged. Look great! GREAT VALUE from a well known and trusted maker of knives.Don’t waste money on a matching block set of knives. You only need 3 or 4 knives for most, if not all of your needs…a chef’s knife or Santoku in your preferred size, a paring knife and a serrated bread knife (6” or 10”), and possibly a boning knife. That’s it.I think this line of knives from Zwilling’s Henkel’s is a great value for those just starting out. I often give these knives as a gift to friends that I felt needed a couple of better knives in their culinary arsenal. When they experience the joy of using sharp knives, it may open up their appreciation for good tools and learn to take care of them.Who knows, they (or more likely, their spouse) may even end up hating me when they get hooked on collecting pricier knives. Ooops!

Sharp
Made in China which surprised me as I thought they were made in Germany. Still, a nice knife and sharp as a razor.

look VERY nice!
bought for a Xmas gift for wife. They came without a sheath or cover, which may not be an issue for most, but my wife will wreck the blades tossing them in a drawer with the kitchen implements. too bad, they look great!
