Big kid? Little kid? Not sure what that size that means. I have a 10 year old and she's a size 3 shoe.

Little kids shoes are toddler sizes like 8-12 . My daughter is six and is in a size 12 . Then it goes to big kids shoes 13 then 1,2,3 and so forth.

My son needs 3J (8 years old) but the closest is 4 big kids, why is there no 3 big kids? Or is it 3 little kids?

our grandson is 20 mos and is in a size 2-3 now and soon to be in the size 4 and these are toddler sizes. An 8 yr old needs kids sized shoes.
