Great value, Makes Plants Happy.
App is a little annoying and finicky, but the light is great. Powerful enough to keep even our red plants happy, adjustable enough to keep algae at bay. Running this on a 14 gallon cube. Accidentally dunked the light in the tank a couple months ago, twice...about a week apart. Dried it carefully and is still working well, thankfully. For the price, I'd highly recommend.

Power button shocked my finger and stopped working less than 3 months
Still trying to get Hygger to respond to email trying to get service under 1 year warranty. After less than 3 months use, the power button shocked my finger and all controls stopped working. The light is permantly on at 10% brightness and must be unplugged to turn it off. Tuya app and manual buttons no longer work to control it. I wish Hygger would respond to my warranty coverage request email. Tried their phone number and it is impossible to get anything but a busy signal. So far, this light by Hygger is something I can not recommend. If I get warranty service, I will update this review.

Good bright light upgrade
I bought this light to upgrade my 40 gallon planted tank. Itโs a great upgrade! The light is bright enough to light the tank from front to back. The previous light was too narrow and dim. I like the app. You have to upgrade the firmware on the lamp when you first connect it. I think that is why some may be having an issue with the app. Also I at first downloaded the wrong Tuya app so be aware that there another app. You want the Tuya smart app. All said I think this is a pretty good light. Itโs growing my plants great!

LED fish tank light
Beautiful light! Works great right out of the box. Plug-in play.

Super disappointed
Beware the app doesn't work even if you leave app open with blue tooth and location on. This light decides to come on at 4:00 a.m. at its brightest every morning instead of what the app is set to do. I have to buy a new light because I need the automation or for it to be turned off at some point.

Disappointing sunrise feature
Almost what I want. Got this for sunrise/sunset function and it does brighten in stages in the morning but it gets very bright very quickly. It doesn't do a good job of mimicking a natural sunrise. Disappointing. I took real-time video of what the engineers at Hygger think a sunrise looks like. (These are spider habitats.)

Not very happy
The light has started to mess up its not been but a couple months and it's flashing like it keeps loosing connection with my app and phone. I hope it doesn't stress my fish I wrote the actual company about this and I paid too much for. It I need it resolved thanks Brian
