Great, affordable table for Crafters and Artists!
GENERAL REVIEW OF THE ASSEMBLED TABLE:I love my new drafting table! The tilt arm works great and tilts up pretty high. I'm using it right now for a large diamond painting and the higher angle will really come in handy and save me from neck and back pain. Because the glass top is heavy, I recommend that you put your foot on the base when tilting it all the way up so it remains stable while you change the position or unlock the mechanism. Once in position, it's fine and you don't need to keep your foot on it. (You'll see what I mean if you buy this table.) That's a minor thing, in my opinion, considering what a great, sturdy, attractive, and affordable table this is! The rolling legs are really wonderful. I'm using it tilted for diamond painting, but if I want to use it flat for other crafts, I can just roll it around and work on the opposite side so I don't have to remove the pencil ledge. If you don't want to have to reposition the table, the pencil ledge is very easy to remove, as is the metal caddy holder. There's no need to remove the glass top first to remove the ledge or the caddy holder. The metal parts of the table are sturdy. The glass is sturdy, but still thin enough to attach plastic clips I bought at Harbor Freight.PACKING AND SHIPPING:It was packed pretty well. My only complaint is that the metal tilt arm was placed directly on top of the 1/2 inch thick styrofoam that protects the glass top. The tilt arm was not bubble wrapped. During shipping, the sharp metal edge on it had dug a 3 inch diameter hole into the styrofoam all the way down to the glass. By some miracle, the glass was not shattered or scratched by the sharp edge of the metal arm. The shipping was very fast! It arrived via FedEx a few days before the projected shipping date, which made me very happy. If the seller reads this review, I hope you will pad the metal arm or at least tape the edges or something to prevent potential damage to the glass. That's probably why some people's table tops arrive shattered!ASSEMBLY:Assembly was relatively easy. If you are experienced at putting together your own furniture, this can be done in less than an hour by one person! I took my time and paid close attention to the detailed instructive illustrations. Take your time! Study the drawing and follow the steps in order, and you shouldn't have any major issues. I am a small woman and was able to assemble this and place the glass top all by myself. I cleaned the underside of the glass before I put the top on. After full assembly, I used Goo Gone to remove the sticky residue after tearing off the numbered stickers. I placed the shelf unit outside the table frame. It's wonderful to have that option for extra leg room. I put a 12×12 piece of wood over the top to hold my coffee cup.ASSEMBLY TIP FOR THE GLASS TOP: leave the screws a little loose for wiggle room and you should have no problem getting all the screws in place after you line the glass up squarely. Tighten them all at the end, not as you go along from hole to hole. By doing this, I had no trouble getting the tabletop fully secured using all the screws.CONS: The off gassing of the fabric drawers is very noticeable. I had to put them in the carport for now because they have an offensive smell. I'm hoping a few days in the fresh air will help. The only other con was the aforementioned precarious packing of the metal tilt arm. Basically, the pro's far outweigh the cons. I hope this detailed review and my photo will help you decide if this is the right table for you.

So far so good. It shipped quickly
So far so good. It shipped quickly, arriving on the first day out of a five day range it gave me for when it would be here. The box wasn't damaged or anything. It took me between 1-2.5 hours to assemble it, (I had to stop a few times to do other things, not sure.), I used everything that was in the box and I had no extra or missing screws. It comes with an Allen wrench and a regular wrench, you will need a phillips screwdriver, as it doesn't include one. The instructions are not very user friendly but they are good enough to follow with some thinking. I had to read some of them over more than once to understand what they meant. Just make sure you know which side is the front and which side is the back before you do anything, and that you don't have anything upside down or backwards, because a lot of the pieces are symmetrical on both sides but need to be a certain way because of the holes. So yeah, this is a good deal. The desk is good quality, the glass is sturdy and nice for drawing. $80 for this is a bargain. It does come up as far as the picture shows without any issues. The drawers are a fine felt material and have a cardboard base, good for holding pencils/pens/whatever else. The sides have a place to hold paint, pencils, brushes, pens, erasers, etc and they do stay in there when you raise the desk up just fine. (Apart from paint, obviously.)I've also been using it for my computer as I got rid of my old desk and it works fine for that. I set it flat and remove the lip at the bottom when doing so (3 screws, doesn't take more than a minute.). Only problem is that there isn't a lot of leg room when the desk is sitting flat, but this isn't intended to be used as an office desk so I can't really complain.I would recommend buying this if you are an artist. It's a really nice budget desk and I don't really have any complaints about it.

Good product with poorly written instructions.
I'm giving this an overall four star because it's exactly what I ordered and expected, and the price is $30 cheaper than identical items on Amazon. It was relatively easy to put together, requiring no tools that weren't included in the package. The drawers are a little off kilter, but I think that's because I tightened the screws too tight. The metal is this enough that going too tight is easy, and the screws will dent the metal. I don't mind the thin metal; it's more than study enough, and the thinner metal means it's lighter than you'd expect. I've only had it one day, but I'm pleased with it so far, and have even done my first painting on it.One funny quirk. Steps one and two of the instructions were clear and in English. The remaining steps were in (I think) Polish. The pictures were clear enough that I was still able to assemble it, but I got a good chuckle out of that.

Difficult assembly
Very hard to assemble. Parts didn't fit very well at all. Looks great once you get it all together.

Excellent product
The media could not be loaded. The delivery on this product was speedy. It arrived in good packaging and was quite easy to assembly despite the comments of others for me. The table looks very professional and sturdy. I am absolutely in love! The only con I had was some of the screws and holes are misaligned. The compartments are a bit small too however I do have extra storage so I’m okay not a deal breaker. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a great drafting table on a budget.
