Moebius The Dark Knight: Batpod 1:25 Scale Model Kit

This was my first ever attempt at building a model from a plastic kit, and it was a lot of fun. This is a very well made kit, instructions are clear and all the parts fit perfectly. For a first-timer, I had no issues at all. The fully assembled Batpod is a tad under 6 inches. I used Tamiya very thin cement and Tamiya Flat Aluminum acrylic paint. I did little weathering - mainly scratches and scuff marks using the same paint - since I am still learning how to do it properly.

Unfortunately, I could not enjoy this build due to the model's scale (or size). The fit of the individual parts was fine and so were the instructions which were in English. However, since the pieces were so small some of the instructions regarding how to fit the handlebars weren't very clear and caused some frustrations. overall, this model came out to be a little over 4 inches when complete. the chassis of the model was just 3 1/2 inches long. If I had to do it all over again I would not purchase this model. Now that I understand vehicle scale which is completely different from aircraft model scale I would not purchase any car model less than 1/18 which is considered large scale.

Getting back into modeling and this one wow the parts where so small I needed tweezers and some parts didn't fit like I wanted but hopefully the batmobile I bought will be more fun. Paint what the bat pod is a dull black color. You need patience expecially for this model it's can be difficult to handle the small parts and keep them in place while guile sets enough to let go.

Just what I Build/Collect . I am a scale snob of Model Cars/ Vehicles . I won't budge from 1/25 scale . If I'm forced to , I will buy 1/24 . It is a matter of storage / display for the completed builds . I cannot access a LHS ! God Bless .. John JR

Because the wheels did not fit the tires properlythe tires are too loose and the wheels are inside of it just wobbling around. I think whoever measured was a little off. other than that it was decent to build. but with the tires so poorly mounted it makes it a bad model.

Great product

Do not buy this product. It is made up of cheap plastic parts. The product description says "some assembly required" which is misleading. You have to do everything from the scratch. Manufacturer should understand that customers do not work in toy factory. The assembly is not that simple. You need to have a glue and a paint which is not included. They should mention this in product description. I was totally disappointed when I opened the box. I did not dare to take out parts from plastic cover, kept everything back and decided to return it. Though I did not assemble it, I'm pretty sure the picture shown as a product is not what you will get as an end result. I felt cheated and I'm not going to buy anything from this manufacturer again.
