I’ve been using this brand of microphones and audio equipment for many years. I’ve had this microphone for almost 2 years now, it still works perfectly fine. This is by far the best budget microphone for the price. It comes with a usb-c cord with a usb-a adapter for your pc. It also has a usb-c port, and an xlr port. It was super easy to plug and play, with no additional installations like drivers or anything. It sounds clear and works great. It has a little mini tripod, but if you have a boom arm, it’s easily adjustable to the direction you want it to be. It has volume sliders in the back for gain levels. The only issue I’ve ever had was the mute button, it came off of the spring. I emailed FIFINE within 1 year of purchasing this specific microphone for that issue. The spring still muted and unmuted the microphone, so it was a small issue, but it was definitely an inconvenience. I use a mixer that I bought from them, so I don’t have to mess with the mute button spring anyway. Instead of them just sending me the 3d printed piece that probably would have cost them $0.10, they sent me a whole new microphone for FREE. I didn’t even have to send back this one to the company. Their customer service was great! I got an email response within a WHOPPING 30 minutes. That’s the fastest customer service I’ve ever seen. They sent the replacement mic within a few days, and I received it within 7 days of the first email that I sent. The K688 is a great all around mic. I spent weeks trying to find a good mic that wouldn't break the bank, but also sounded good, and didn't sound terrible when speaking. When I heard my friends voices through theirs, I knew it was right. I got my wife and I each one, mine being black and hers pink. I like that it's xlr/usb so I could try both. It's pretty durable for it being plastic. Sound quality is really good. You may want to keep the gain low knob low when adjusting it, the mic does pick up alot of sound if not adjusted. All in all this mic can compete with some of the higher end mics on the market, for WAY less.

Honestly didn’t expect much for the price, but this mic is awesome. My room has zero sound treatment and my PC fans are pretty loud, but because it’s dynamic it barely picks up any of that background noise. My voice sounds super clear and full right out of the box without needing to mess with EQ settings. The tap-to-mute button on top is super convenient for Discord calls, and having both USB and XLR means I can plug it straight into my PC now and upgrade to an audio interface later. Easily worth every penny.

It’s a good mic for it price the sound quality is okay, it didn’t sound as professional as I wanted it to if you get this my guy highly recommend getting an XLR for it. But overall it’s a decent mic I still prefer my blue yeti over it.

Fantastic value. The audio fidelity & sensitivity is SO much higher than my Blue Yeti (https://amzn.to/4h4AsiX). A dynamic mike is SO much better than a condenser mic, and the price is terrific! I use it for podcasts, Zoom calls & YT videos - I sound way better and much less "nasal" or "tinny". Also it comes with USB-C & XLR connectors - so its functional in multiple kinds of set up

The ease of use is awesome. I had a Blue Yeti and It was fine but being a cardioid mic, it just picked everything up. This mic has great sound and I'm sure with post production can sound amazing. The noise canceling capabilities it has great too. I put my phone that was playing a video on my desk next to me, something the yeti would have picked up, and I didn't hear an ounce of it in the playback. This is the first day with the mic, so if my views change, so will the review. But for now, it hits all the boxes. Oh and being able to record raw vocals on my iPad on the fly or when mobile is awesome. The quality is just as good there as it is on PC

Solid mic. Easy to use.

I was so happy to order fifine k688 which is great starter mic but during one and half month i tried so many good cables and devices to clear recordings but this is only recording noise no voice been clear recording.

Microphone works great. However, the stand is kinda flimsy. After a few months, it no longer can support the mic.
