HarbisonWalker International’s proven insulating firebrick line, GREENTHERM, is made up of lightweight, porous materials with much lower density, thermal conductivity and heat capacity than traditional refractory brick. GREENTHERM insulating firebrick are available in four temperature grades. GREENTHERM 23 AM - 2300°F GREENTHERM 26 AM - 2600°F GREENTHERM 28 AM - 2800°F GREENTHERM 30 LI - 3000°F GREENTHERM products are manufactured to a low-iron chemical composition, yielding excellent resistance to CO disintegration in reducing atmospheres.
