Gives my Canon T7 constant power with no issues. Super easy to use, durable, and lightweight.

Replaces camera battery and powers it with 120v AC
It powers my Canon DSLR camera with AC instead of the camera battery. The camera battery can be depleted with long exposures, so powering the camera with an external power source eliminates that problem. For me it would be better if it ran on 12 volts DC instead of house current, but I solved that problem with a small AC inverter. Works great, and the price is reasonable.

DOES NOT WORK WITH T6
OK so i have no idea if it worked or not after buying it and it not working then returning it. I just noticed this camera has a flap for a the cable for the dummy battery to run through so i was never able to close the battery door.

For those saying it does not fit the Canon EOS Rebel T6, they're out of their minds or just don't know what they're doing. The coupler was an exact fit. The wire is the perfect size to fit through the little rubber flap on the side of the battery lid. The lid closes with ease and stays closed. It powered my camera right up. I'll update this review if the longevity of the product does not meet my expectations, but the initial use is flawless. Great product

Replace the batteries and headache, use this!
This cord was exactly what I needed , Right when I needed it! I was setting up to sell stuff on ebay, get a collection of photos of stuff I was moving , and do streaming . Having to charge the batteries over and over would have been a nightmare and with cannons batteries constantly wearing out after only 7 months to a point they were useless this was a time saver I needed! The cord has the distance you need and the power you need. it won't over heat and it's ready for use right out of the box. it's worth the price and worth the time it took to look into it!
