Rug Renovator/Carpet Cleaning Brush

I absolutely love this carpet brush! It's sturdy, easy to grip, and does a fantastic job pulling up dirt, and getting rid of the stain. The bristles are firm enough to be effective without damaging the carpet fibers. I used it on some high-traffic areas and couldn't believe how much cleaner the carpet looked.

Heads up! The carpet cleaning brush is great but the pole handle not so much. Customers who complained about this issue were correct. It's weak and worthless. It collapsed after using it for an hour. I was able to use my adjustable extension pole in its place. After the quick substitution, it worked like a charm.

I was impressed by the quality and sturdiness of this tool. Complaints about the handle seem unwarranted.

The brush seems to do the job as stated. The pole on the other hand failed after 10 to 15 minutes of use. The plastic tension ring broke. I contacted the customer service of the company and requested guidance. I was told that over exertion can cause it to fail. Customer service said a replacement can be sent, or I could just go to Lowe’s and purchase another replacement out of pocket, or just return it through Amazon. They stated that their warehouse was shut down and there would be a delay. Fix this issue, and stop hoping customers will eat the cost of a replacement at Lowe’s.

We knew going into this purchase of this product that there may be an issue on the top pole sliding down suddenly when You are making a forward pushing motion on the carpet. This was based on the feedbacks many buyers had stated. The fix is shown (when completed) in the above first 3 photos. Make sure your pole length is where you want it, and hand tighten. A work bench is recommended....Not the kitchen table! I used a 9/64" drill bit as it was the size for the #10 (see Last photo) size screw x 3/4" long (#10 x 1/2" long will work also). You will need a hammer and center punch (or spike type nail) to put a small dimple into the upper pole approx. 7/8" above the junction of the lower pole.(measured from the black plastic flat ring at the bottom of the top pole junction.. The pole is a very hard steel, so your drill bit must be sharp or New in condition. Use eye protection. Start out with a pilot hole where you made your punch mark (indentation required) until you drill approx. a 1/4" deep. Next use your larger drill bit that is for your screw size. Drill your hole to 1/2" to 3/4" depth based on the screw length you are using....you will have black plastic from the core spiral out your drill bit...normal, as it's a solid plastic core inside this area. Install your screw using a #2 Phillips screwdriver by hand....a power drill is NOT a good idea for safety reasons when installing the screw. The internal Black plastic core will secure and hold the screw tightly in place.

I just received my Cleanovation carpet brush today. I must say I am impressed with its sturdiness, ease of use, and easy to clean. I used to get down on my knees to spot clean the carpet. With weak knees, I can't do that any longer. This brush is definitely a God-send. Whatever results you've gotten with your choice of carpet cleaner, I feel the brush could give you even better results. I do have one negative: It's not user-friendly to put the handle together. You need a beginner to intermediate level of ability to assemble.. My wish for the company to assemble the handle when packing so that the customer can simply screw the handle into the brush. That's it. Other than that I still give it a 5-Star rating. Perfect for the job!

This "tool" didn't work at all to lift any dirt or stain. Besides that, essentially it's just a brush on a stick, so why so expensive?? It was also hard to push around on carpet. My bad for falling for it. I purchased a rubber "broom" with a more stable, interchangeable wooden handle that works better than this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I'm returning for refund.

Really good, nice rolling wheels, tough bristles. I bought this to scrub a rug (with running water, outside on my deck). I was pretty impressed. Took one star off because the top of the handle falls off, makes the rest of it look cheap.

Should have read/believed the comments. First go handle doesn't stay locked in place. Second use handle snapped. $90 wasted. So disappointing
