It will keep your battery safe. And it’s cheap.
The price is right. But if you’re not up the the task of figuring it out. You may want to find one with instructions. However it has protected my battery several times from excessive draw at low SOC. Also it has saved it from overcharging. It will report a higher voltage to your charger when any single cell reaches 4.2v. Thus stopping the charging.It won’t balance very well but if you’re too out of balance it will shut down. This has only happened a couple times. In which case i have to find the cell out of balance and manually charge/discharge it.I would say its worth it to me. Find another one for a comparable price.

A Textbook solution that only works in ideal conditions.
Board does not have a real IC that controls the balancing. Non-smart passive balancing only works in ideal conditions with well-matched cells. Thresholds are crudely set with passive components which are meant to be precision components but are not. Might get away as an OEM part. Not suitable for DIY battery packs. Not suitable for cells meant to be on stand-by for long period of time. Do not put on reclaimed battery pack. In some conditions it will drain your battery.

As picture, no instruction
Fast ship from China. No instruction or wiring diagram. Had to Google for possible wiring. The top end balance charge. Did not check for low end cut off yet

Blatant garbage, defective out the package
Return window closed. By the time I could use it BMS charge to 58.8v cut of at 52v. Had me even question myself. Checked all connections it's the item whether defective or damaged. None the less I'm out $30+ and no one to hold accountable or contact for a honest purchase on my part.
