My husband is a really sensitive to sound plus he does stream online. So having a quiet background is really important to him. While sheet rocking his soon to be new office/studio it was discovered that the radon fan was too loud and he was worried it would bother him. So we purchase this to wrap the fan shaft in and sure enough it reduce the sound completely. Now that his studio is complete he was extremely happy and can’t hear a thing.

Does a good job with sound. Completely stopped noise from a removed toilet from hearing water flushed from other apartments' drains when just draping the hole in the floor with some of this. Remember: of you use a noise solution, any "hole" that is present will negate this item's ability to stop noise transmission

I used this product to wrap the exhaust pipe from my over the stove microwave. I wrapped the pipe and secured it with 120lbs zip ties. It reduced the sound output from the vent by 9-10 decibels. I was very impressed with this product and will continue to use this product to reduce noise in future products.

We bought this based on someone’s review about using this for soundproofing pipes. We decided to try this to cover our noisy crawl space pipes. It was easy to cut with a box cutter and install with zip ties. The noise has been reduced considerably. We totally recommend this product for this use.

Fantastic quality. Easy to trim to size needed for the car install. Heavy as expected, requires industrial strength Velcro to install on the door panels. Overall fantastic product!

Used this to cover a noisy PVC drainage pipe. Worked perfectly and now can't hear anything.
