I purchased these mini headphones for both my husband and myself, and they are by far the best we’ve ever owned. I've had these over a year now and love them. I primarily use them for running. They are comfortable and light with good sound while allowing me to hear my surroundings. I wear them with sunglasses and still barely notice them. I live in Florida and sweat a lot and run in the rain frequently and have never had an issue. Great battery life and I like the magnetic charger. Mine is paired to my Garmin watch and I've never had any disconnects while using. I liked so much I bought a second one to use at work (paired to my phone) and got my husband one too!

Okay, so I should preface this review with: this is not my first pair of 'Shokz', and this is now my go-to brand so keep in mind and possible biases. When I first got a 'Shokz' brand headset, it was back when their brand was still 'Aftershokz'. This 'OpenRun' model is the immediate successor to the 'Aeropex', and let me tell you about some features they changed for the better, which you may never know about. For example, my review did not in fact start off "CHARGE ME!!", because between models they listened to their customers and made serious quality of life improvements. Mx. ChargeMe no longer screams unholy in your ear the moment your battery is looking a little low. Now we have a quieter, slightly softer voice informing us that it's both on, and either connected or low battery. Hey Shokz team? Our eardrums thank you! Next feature difference between my last pair and this one? I bought the Mini this time, and I am LOVING THEM. The comfort difference between the mini and the standard is noticable, when you have the right size. If any point you thought their pre-purchase sizing was silly, think again. Do it, and you'll love yourself for it. This isn't something new, but it is to me, and frankly I'm thrilled- save for the fact that the Mini isn't available in the same range and colors. Hey Shokz? I'm the Big Sad that I couldn't buy that lovely Seafoam Blue/Green color just because I wanted the better fit. I wear my headphones until they literally break, which was the case with my last pair. They kept playing beautifully until the very materials comprising them were deteriorating. I wore them every. Single. Day. And for each day I have never been gentle. I wear them to work, wore them to college, wear them at home (and yes, in the freakin' shower and I am SHAMELESS about it). My entire family has a pair, because we are thorough believers in being able to listen to what we want, while still being available to those around us. These are durable, reliable, great quality, and easy to operate- just avoid the button on the left ear, I way too often hit it and "Re-Dialing last number.." Wait, wha- @?$&, NO! 10 outta 10, I recommend. So much so, I've been listening to a streamer through my OpenRun's while typing this review. :3 (P.S: Only ever had to return a pair through RMA, once. It was my first pair, and the warranty process was painless and easy. They were also above and beyond, earning them some serious loyalty from me. So, great customer service from the Manufacturer.)

Great headset! I loved having it for the time I did. I was able to listen to audio books while doing chores and caring for the family. Even after a year and a half, the battery would last a day and a half. I would have a book playing pretty much all day long. I loved the shorter/mini, as it was snug against my head. Never had an issue with connecting to the phone. Other than the issue stated below, sometimes the charger wouldn’t charge, but I just had to disconnect and reconnect quickly and it would go. Charging only took about an hour or so from dead to fully charged, which was amazing! Super easy to use, comfortable to wear, and left my ears still open to hear things. Definitely helped with my type of ADHD and needing constant audio input that wasn’t part of daily life. Constant daily use for over a year and a half, I would say it is definitely worth the money! Only reason I left out the final star, is because after a year and a half of using them daily, they vibrated loose the crystals in my ears and cause a severe case of BPPV (benign vertigo). Anyone prone to those types of vertigo or anything else involving balance and such, use caution. That is the only complaint I have. Otherwise, it had been the best headset I have ever used. Was sad to have to get different ones.

I originally had the Trekz unit (which is still working perfectly after many years of use), I love it and I was excited to finally see a nice design update, especially with the option to have a shorter frame, which was something that annoyed me on the Trekz. I did have a power problem on the OpenRun after 8 months of use and I can honestly say I have never experienced such a good customer support ever!!!... I had a reply within 2 days and my problem was fixed quasi immediately. This is of immense value for me and the clear effort from the brand to put out a great product and a great brand experience compels me to take the time to write this extensive review as a shout out for the Shokz team, so below is what I want to say about the product itself (and I know it's gonna sound like a paid review but it's not... :) ) Things I can't stand with earbuds in general are: 1- the lack of comfort induced by having the bud in the ear for an extended period of time 2- poor battery times and poor sound quality due to the earbud size format 2- How cumbersome the charge case is in a pocket and the need to carry it all the time for the times when the buds need to be removed The Shokz address all these issues because their architecture give them a little more volume to embark higher capacity batteries and better speakers. They can be used so comfortably for hours and whenever somebody talks to me, I can quickly drop the buds on my neck, which generally a very convenient way to carry them around, without being bulky and cumbersome like headphones. I want to say that they offer more awareness of the environment from not obstructing the ear canal but the sound can be so full (at least the way I use them :) ), that they can just as easily prevent hearing sounds from the outside. Still what is for sure is that it's gotta be healthier to use bone conduction than shoving a foreign object in the ear canal all the time, especially with the effects of noise cancellation. Next improvements that I look forward to from the Shokz team: 1- a longer charging cable, especially as they use a proprietary magnetic connector that you can't easily replace with another cable (I mean, seriously guys, what were you thinking with a cord that short....). 2- an even more discreet frame, I'm thinking transparent plastic here... Comfortable, good sound, works well and great value for the money.

Purchased for hubby. He loves them! Allows him to listen his phone and take calls hands free.... yet allows him to hear what's going on around him in the shop! Best way to describe the way these work - think of you being in a car with the radio on but also having people in the car conversing with you. You hear what you need but not the outside of the car noises. Great quality. Light weight. Fits comfortably. Looks good on without bulkiness.

Auriculares simplemente espectaculares, tuve una versión anterior y se me rompieron, me decidí por este modelo, el salto cualitativo es bastante grande, ya solamente la forma de cargarlos me parece todo un acierto, lo malo que si te pierde el cable tendrás que comprar otro ya que son propietarios de la marca y no sirve otros como usb tipo c ni nada parecido, pero sólo tengo que decir bondades de éste modelo. Son cómodos se adaptan bastante bien por su tamaño, las llamadas se escuchan claras y nítidas. Eso si no esperes unos graves espectaculares para escuchar música con cancelación de ruidos....., para eso hay otro tipo de cascos, estos son ideales para escuchar podcast, mantener conversaciones mientras escuchas música de fondo, en definitiva la tecnología es asombrosa ya que son de conducción ósea y no saturan el oído para nada en absoluto la autonomía es bastante buena, la distancia del bluetooth también , yo estoy encantado, si se me rompieran volvería a repetir sin dudarlo. Los recomiendo si totalmente, pero siempre sabiendo para lo que son, si quieres escuchar música con todos sus matices quizás no sea lo que estés buscando, en cambio si quieres comodidad, escuchar un audio decente y sobre todo no dañar a tús oídos, estos son tus cascos, un saludo y gracias.

Gebruik het voor het hardlopen en ben erg tevreden. Normaal beats koptelefoon gewend maar deze heeft meer comfort , is waterdicht en goede geluidskwaliteit zonder dat je de geluiden uit de omgeving mist. Een aanrader , je merkt niet dat je iets op hebt en blijft super zitten. Batterij heel snel opgeladen en lange speelduur +6u

Perfect fit to the head

I will preface this review by saying my partner has the Shokz Openmove and by comparison, the Openrun are definitely, definitely worth the additional cost. Compared to the Openmove they are far more comfortable, have a better charging system (USB-C plug in Vs magnetic cable) and have higher quality sound. I opted for the mini over the standard, I have (what I would say!) an avaerage size head and short hair and having tried the standard, found the standard 'bar' around the back of the head to be too long, the mini sits just right. The headset itself is light and comfortable, I can leave them on all day without noticing their presence, I also wear glasses and the Shokz sit right alongside without any issue. I will note that it's not really comfortable to lean back or lay onto the band so for this i still have a pair of in-ears. The battery is great, once charged I believe I have had up to 9 hours of continuous use, without continuous use but bluetooth enabled on my device, I can go a couple of days without having to recharge. The sound quality is great, whilst obviously not as good as a decent set of in ear or over ear heaphones, I still find the quality good enough to be able to hear nuances in my music, as a bonus wearing the headset is far less obstructing than in ear or over ear headphones. The fact that they sit over your ear rather than in means you can use them in a work environment whilst still being able to hold conversations or use them whislt travelling and be able to hear the environment around you. I have had my Shokz for just over a year now with daily use and have had no issues as of yet (fingers crossed), I cannot see myself going back. I will say, if you plan on buying Shokz, at the minimum buy a pair of Openrun, they can be had for £90 pretty regularly, any cheaper set and the overall quality is noticeably worse.
