I’ve been using this rotary blade cutter for my fabric and sewing projects, and overall, it’s been a solid tool. The cutting is smooth and precise, making it easier to work with various fabrics. I love how sharp the blade is—it cuts through cotton, fleece, and even some thicker materials effortlessly. For anyone who sews regularly, this is a huge time-saver compared to traditional scissors. However, I did give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I’ve run into an issue with the locking mechanism. More often than I’d like, the cutter locks itself without me actually engaging the lock. This can be really frustrating because, at first, I couldn’t figure out why the blade wouldn’t rotate when I was trying to cut. It took me a while to realize that it had locked by itself again. It doesn’t happen every time, but it’s definitely a nuisance when it does. Despite this, the cutter is still a great tool for the price. Once I get past the locking issue, it performs well, and I find it indispensable for most of my sewing and fabric-cutting needs. If they could improve the locking mechanism, this would easily be a 5-star product.

This is only a step up from dollar tree rotary cutters to me. It comes apart often when using, the blades are not sharp even when changing. I already had to go order a different brand. OK for a beginner. Once you get more experience this will not do.

This is a really good, sharp cutter - and I wonder why it took me so long to get one! I know people use them to cut fabric for quilting, but I use it for leather and it cuts through it like paper. Just great! Has extra blades too and it is very easy to use and has a push button lock when not in use. Excellent value.

Little beauty

I just started doing quilting & needed some accessories, but didn't want to spend a fortune in case I was no good at the craft & gave up! I bought this one to try & it was so cheap, I figured it would be basic, but it is actually really solid & easy to use. It locks so you don't have to hold down the button to get it moving & if you press hard enough it slices very easily & accurately. Comes with replacement blades. Such a bargain. Very happy with this purchase & the best thing, it is pink, which co-ordinates with all my other craft items.
