I just recently started using this item so I cannot yet speak to it's durability however it is currently working pretty well. I used to have a toilet light from Walmart (Feist brand) so I'll compare this one to that. This light has great motion detection and brightness (a little brighter than the Feist brand). One thing I notice is that it doesn't turn off in the daytime as easily as my former light. My toilet is in a somewhat shaded area in the bathroom and it isn't always bright enough for the light to not activate during the day. That's not really a pro/con but just an observation. What I really like compared to my former light is that this one stays in place on the toilet rim sooo much better. I have not had to fidget with it once so far. I will have to wait and see how long this lasts as well as battery life but it's also only $8 for a 2 pack so, as of now I can certainly recommend. Update: My two pack lasted from May 22 until then end of November so they are good for a few months a piece. During the time they work, they work great but eventually the led light fails. I'd like longer durability but for only $7 it's still a good purchase. I just bought another 2 pack.

Great value for a simple and surprisingly effective device. TBD how long it lasts and how easy it is to clean, but it provides a great light at a very cheap price. It can be a bit disconcerting looking at the bowl and makes your pee look oddly colored. My only real complaint (and reason for deducting a star) is that this device is only based on motion, not light. That means it always activates when it detects motion, even when the lights are on, which is certain to reduce its battery life considerably.

Motion activated light illuminates toilet water and eliminates the need for a nightlight or constant light. Color rotates or can be selected. I have had about 10 of these over the last 10 years. Keep the batteries fresh and it lasts a long time. Turns out it makes a great gift also.

Only one item worked,I kept putting batteries in and moving around it still wouldn't light up.

Love these! For those who need a little bathroom light in the middle of the night this is what you need. Put in a couple AAA batteries and turn it on, it. They are action activated and don’t get in the way, if you know what I mean, lol

This is great. Helps not having to have a nightlight in the bathroom. Got one for my kids bathroom and one for mine. Easy to use and perfect amount of light for nighttime use!

I have had these since February. Three months later and they are dead. I changed the batteries in these many times. They worked well while they lasted. I enjoyed being able to see in the toilet in the middle of the night without having to turn on the noisy bathroom light.

We don’t use these in the toilet. That’s just too much work to clean with boys in the house. We use them as motion activated nightlights in the washrooms. We can walk in and have instant light without turning on the bright lights at night. When we walk out, it turns itself off. Been a little over 2 months since replacing our old ones with these. The old ones (different brand) were 5 years old. These are fairly new and failing already. One started staying on, day or night even in bright light within the first month. The other is now taking a lot longer to come on even when moving right in front of it. I am very disappointed in this product. I do not recommend them. Too bad the return window is closed or I’d be returning them.
