I love this book! Bright pages heavy for use in the shop. Clear easy directions I can follow as a beginner. A great book worth the money for me.

Very helpful book for woodworking.

Good basics and real good projects. Material is about 10-20 years out and of date as far as power tools we have available today however.

This product is great for beginners and intermediate alike. It has easy to follow plans and excellent color photos and plan design

If you are a beginner woodworker the first 1/3 or so of this book will be good for you. It give detailed information on different tools, types of wood, different techniques, and an all around great beginner or even refresher lesson on basic woodworking.The projects are well rounded with some easier things to build and some more difficult things but none too difficult.The only negative of the book for me is that the website that is referenced for obtaining plans no longer exists. I was excited I could actually download plans for a few things I wanted to build but then was immediately disappointed when I tried going to the website but couldn’t.

My grandson is becoming a good woodworker and I wanted to get him a reference book showing types of wood joints, finishes, glues and other fact to help him and I feel this book will be very helpful to him.
