Deep Dish Cookie Cake with HERSHEY'S® KISSES, 10"

Delicious. Served at a busy private party, everyone loved. Purchased because it was pre-sliced and ease of serving.

As an Austrian this is a nice chocolate cake but defenitely not à Sachertorte….A Sachertorte has apricot jam right under the hard chocolate coating on the top….. It does not have frosting or à chocolate mousse middle…. That being said the cake is delicious!!

The cake looks exactly as pictured, it is huge! It’s delicious but a bit too sweet for even extreme sugar lovers as myself & my kids. Easy fix though, after serving a slice we just took off a portion of the top frosting & it balanced out well. I wouldn’t suggest making the cake smaller but I would suggest making the slices thinner. The average child can’t eat that entire slice, even as an adult it was hard for me to finish a huge slice. What I did was cover the slice with foil on a plate & return to it later. Minor things that wouldn't deter me from ordering again. My daughter isn’t a cake person but she loved it because of the edible cookie dough & tie dye colors inside the cake. She said it was so yummy plus unique decor, purple frosting, sprinkles etc. When ordering this cake please order it as close to the date as possible. Ours arrived 24hrs later / 3 days ahead of schedule & I had nowhere to store it since my freezer & fridge were full. I took a chance & left it in the original packaging, sat the packaging on my tile floor, it held up & stayed cold until 3 days later. It’s still cold here at night so that was very helpful, I wouldn’t recommend trying this in the summer. I didn’t expect it to arrive so soon but now I know for next time. Will definitely be ordering more cakes from here, overall delicious and better priced than their online site. We got an amazing treat at a great price! It made her birthday very special & unique 💜

I was pleasantly surprised to find the beautiful carrots on top of the cake top were made of delicious cream cheese frosting and not buttercream ...KUDOS!!! Kept well in the refrigerator. The texture of the cake seemed tight and the bottom layer was VERY dry and compacted. Even though the ingredients do not list nuts, the advertised picture clearly shows what looks like walnuts in the cake which there were none in the cake I received. I would not purchase again even if price were lower.

I am giving this four stars instead of five because it is very expensive! It is worth it to me because I love carrot cake with cream cheese icing, and this is the best carrot cake I've ever had! I love that it is pre-cut into 14 identical individual slices makes it easier to portion it out and not eat too much at one time, it also enables you to share with others who might like it like my parents, my mom is going through cancer treatment the last few months after she was diagnosed with lung cancer and bone cancer in her hip but her chemotherapy is working very well and the cancer in her chest has decreased it has gotten smaller due to the chemotherapy treatments she's been having, my dad is taking care of her and taking her to and from the hospital for treatments and I saved some of it for them my dad loves it but my mom is not a fan of carrot cake but my dad loves it and it's a nice way to give him a little treat to help keep his mind off of what a family is going through with my mom sick. Her prognosis is good because her cancer was caught early! And this is a good way to give my dad a little something special to let him know how much I appreciate all he's doing for my mom! This is and absolutely delicious cake it was frozen solid when I got it but it was easy to remove a piece and defrost it for a couple seconds in the microwave and I was able to eat it on the day that I got it just one slice at a time makes portioning easier, since I have a great love for sweets but love to keep my trim figure I try not to overdo it and this portioning of the cake is a big help to me! I would definitely recommend this particular cake from David's cookies company I would really like to try a few of the others they look so delicious but the prices are very very high for these cakes, but, they are gourmet cakes, and it's a once and a blue moon splurge and to me it's worth it! Cuz sometimes life can be really rough and being able to treat yourself to something so delicious and it's made with quality ingredients that you can feel good about serving yourself and your family any one of these cakes or thier delicious cookies!!🍰

This cake is pretty good. I’ve been trying to find the ones I bought a number of years ago. Sold in various stores. Whole this is good, am mainly trying to find the old ones because they had the very best cream cheese icing and looked exactly like this one. And they had a LOT OF ICING on them. This has icing that’s okay, but it’s spread pretty thin both between layers and on the top. So I guess I’ll keep looking.
