how long will i change the filter?

About once a month or 100 refills.

I've followed all the instructions but the water tastes horrible. How long does it take for this to dissipate please?

Did you wash the filter very well with water before use? I washed the filter with a running tap for about 5min or more before use and the water taste good.

How do you fit the filter cartridge

Hi Lorry... The filter has a sort of bayonet fitting (like a light bulb) underneath and you just twist it into place. The actual fitting of the cartridge starts at a slight angle and once inserted it ends up in line with the spout and the handle. Hope this helps.

Can you use these filters in kettles which require water filters

All the Aqua filter is doing is filtering water so why not.
