Compact protection with serious performance.
The Chtaixi 12V–110V DC Miniature Circuit Breaker is a rock-solid choice for battery systems and DC power setups. I installed it in li-ion battery bank to protect an 80A line, and it’s performed flawlessly. The two-pole design adds versatility, and the compact form factor fits neatly into tight enclosures. What impressed me most is the consistent trip response—no false alarms, but quick action when needed. Build quality feels industrial-grade, and the terminals are easy to access and secure. If you’re looking for dependable DC protection with a clean footprint, this breaker delivers peace of mind and pro-level reliability.

Good build.
These are good size. DC rated for solar. Fits a 4 gauge wire without any problems. When pulling 60 amps they do not get warm. There rated for 80 amps. I'm sure they will work for rated without any issues. I had other brand 60 amp units on And they got very hot. Never tripped but got hot. Almost 130 degrees, I have noticed that I'm getting more amps out of my 1000 watt panels. No loss going from point to point. Heat is loss of energy. I can bet we are getting 10 to 5 more amps because of the bigger contacts inside. No heat problems now. I always check tightness of all connections ever month so that wasn't an issue before. If your using some cheap CB And your system is getting hot replacement should be your first choice.

IDK... Update* 12/2/25 Do Not Buy
Idk.. I have the 125 amp breakers and they get burning hot when pushing them around 120 amps. I bumped current to 135 to see what they would do and they quickly got to the point where they could burn you within a few seconds. I didn't let it go long enough at that current because I thought it was going to start burning the breaker. Works good as a disconnect, and might even be ok if you have a gross over current doubling the amperage but I don't like how hot it gets without cutting out near its rated load. If I have an extra breaker at the end of my project maybe I'll do some more testing to see if it will burn up. Update* 12/2/25 I bought 6 or 7 of these things. 4 or 5 no longer work. So I did a high current test and pushed about 150a through a breaker. The 2 gauge wire stayed warm except for where it tied into the breaker. It got hot enough that it started to burn the 105c rated wire. I disconnected the system before fire but the breaker did not trip untill 30 minutes after the load was disconnected. A melted area occurred on the breaker and the wire was discolored. It hit roughly 260+ degrees before I shut it off and was climbing. So it failed my testing. Besides that A few tripped from normal use and no longer are able to reset. Another couple do reset but the contacts inside are bad. Honestly these things are a major liability and should be pulled from amazon. I pulled the remaining functioning breakers from my system because I no longer trust them to protect anything. Wish I could return.
