Wow! Such a great quality mirror that both auto dims plus has a backup camera input!
Firstly, I want to say that it took me a long time to find the right mirror that did everything I wanted. Unfortunately, there are a ton of mirrors on both Amazon as well as eBay that look exactly like this. The problem is they do not automatically dim, even though the sellers advertise them as such. When you ask they will tell you that the display will dim, but they like to say it in such a way as to trick you. After lots of research, I have concluded that you can't get a good mirror like this for $50. This mirror at $175 is very much worth the price. Other mirrors like it on the internet go well above the $400 range! This is the best bang for your buck. As soon as I opened the box I could instantly tell this was a very well-crafted mirror. Fairly heavy, and the arm that attaches to it is very tight on the ball joints. The great thing about this is the mirror stays where you put it and doesn't shake or rattle while driving. Installation was a snap and took about a half hour, which was mostly just routing the wire. When I first powered it on I was impressed by how well the automatic dimming worked, just like any other dimming mirror. At no point was I able to see the screen itself either, the screen only shows when the backup camera is active. I also like that the mirror comes with a remote that allows you to adjust settings like the positioning of the guidelines. I used the chart in the manual to map out the measurements of where the lines should be and then adjusted while watching the screen. That's it, very easy setup and programming. It works the same way any other standard auto-dimming mirror does. When it's on you see a green light, you can press the power button to enable or disable it. On top of that, this mirror also turns off the auto-dimming while you are in reverse, just like the factory ones. If you wish to connect another camera like a side camera system or front camera, there is a secondary input that allows connection. This input is a "sensing" input that automatically turns on the input if it detects a video signal. As far as both inputs the backup camera input will always take priority. This means if you are using the secondary input and put your car in reverse, the mirror will automatically switch to the backup camera, which makes a lot of sense. Oh boy, am I tempted to hook up a RetroPi for some parking lot gaming between giving rideshare rides! I have to hook something up to it, no man can leave any input unused. Here is the conclusion of what you are going to get when you install this mirror. You are getting a mirror that far exceeds factory quality while having both the luxury of a backup camera as well as an auto-dimming mirror. This mirror saved me from the expensive mission of replacing my radio. Plus, I like to keep my car looking as factory as possible, so I prefer to keep the original radio. Do not buy any other mirror, get this one. You won't regret it!

A superb, yet subtle upgrade for a 16 year old PT Cruiser
I have an Android double-din radio installed in my '06 PT, but I didn't like triggering the reverse lamp I fitted as it would go full screen and hide whatever app I had open. I have a small LCD mounted on the dash, with a rearview camera mounted internally on the C-pillar to monitor the baby seat in the back (its better than using a baby mirror). So I discovered they make rear-view mirrors with LCD's in them. Originally, I was just looking to get a dimming rearview mirror. Since my car is lowered, the glare from the headlights of the endless SUV's and Trucks is super obnoxious and I wanted to reduce the bright lights in my eyes. I came across this mirror and it fit the bill. Dimming, and had a display for a camera. Great, perfecto. Installing this mirror in a PT Cruiser was no different to installing an OEM factory mirror. Just loosen the screw with the provided tool, and the mirror slides up off the mount on the windshield. Install is the reverse of removal. I did have to use some small modeling snips to trim down the length of the wire hiding plastic piece, as my mirror is mounted higher up than most vehicles. But that is no biggie. Once I joined the rear-view camera wires, I tied it all off and wrapped in foam tape above the headliner out of sight. I've found the dimming on the mirror to be splendid. So much so, that I am actively looking for a way to electronically dim my side mirrors. The mirror is a smidge darker than factory in terms of light reflected, but it's perfectly comfortable. Headlights in the review are dimmed enough I can make out the light bulbs inside the housings - but it does not darken the rest of the surrounding. I've had it for almost a week so far, and this was the most subtle, yet most noticeable mod I have installed in a few years. Was it worth the $170? Only you can decide that. I am happy, so to me it is. Especially since it doesn't physically appear much different to the OEM mirror aside from being slightly thicker, and having light sensors and a green LED. Overall, if you are on the fence with this product then I would say take the chance. It's a solid product, well constructed, with good instructions and the value it adds with the LCD and glare reduction make it worthwhile.

Does the job, OEM look, Temp and Comp feature is nice.
seems good so far, the temp and compass backlight seems to get confused at dusk/dawn lighting, will get little bright and little dimmer, nothing distracting though. I paired with a BOKA license plate camera and seems to look ok, the screen is small so its hard to tell if its clear or not.

Good Quality Product that Works as Advertised
This mirror does exactly what it says. It comes with a long connector that you can run down into your dashboard where you can connect your cameras and power. I like this because you can place your connectors somewhere easy to work on. The mirror is a good size. My favorite feature is that the screen isn't noticeable at all when it's turned off so this looks just like a normal mirror. The compass and temperature gauge both work well and actually mirror what my car says. I mainly wanted this so I can see my temperature when using Apple CarPlay. (Keep in mind that you will need to run a temperature sensor to the front of your car for the temperature function to work.) If you choose not to do this, you just don't plug in the sensor and the temperature won't be displayed on the mirror. Overall I am pleased with this purchase. It works as advertised and the screen offers good quality.

El producto es bueno, pero podría ser mejor. La cámara con la que viene para Instalacion es muy grande y no se puede posicionar para tener el mejor ángulo de visión.

I teamed this up with a Crux camera for my 2005 Ford F-150. Wiring is pretty simple. Red/Black is 12V switched ignition. Green wire is a 12V trigger coming from the reverse light at the back of the truck, which signals the display to come on on the CAMERA video input. Don't mix up the two inputs otherwise it may not work as expected. With this setup, when I turn the truck on and start it, the "Master Tailgaters" logo displays for a couple of seconds, then it goes off. As soon as I engage reverse, the camera powers up, and the green wire signals the display to come on. Works like a charm.
