Washing Machine Door Lock Interlock Switch Compatible With Samsung DC34-00026A / DC3400026A

It was about £10 more than I can find online, these normally are about 24.99 and 3.49 for delivery from eSpares but as I have a young family and can't afford to wait 3-4 days for a door interlocking solenoid ordered it, turned up lunchtime on Sunday and was fitted in 10 mins. I am a plumber but this is a pretty straight forward repair I think any competent DIY'er can do. If you get the DC issue, it can be 4 things, Door Microswitch, top door switch (at 12 o'clock on the opening), wiring that might had rubbed on drum (inspect it) or the main board fault. If you have a multi meter you can test and diagnose but if you close the door and you don't get a beep from the machine telling you door closed confirmation, 9 times out of 10 its the door switch.

So my washer broke and I narrowed it down to the door lock, it obviously wasn’t locking so I couldn’t use my machine.Found this after searching other places, ordered it after making sure it was the correct door lock for my Samsung ecobubble washer.The part came the next day and I searched on YouTube how to replace it which looked quite easy to do so thought I’d try and replace it myself and it really was so easy to do, I now have a washing machine door that locks and works!Thank you Amazon and the small business that sells the part on here.Very happy customer!
