Sundown Saw Palmetto, 250 Capsules

This product is unlike most supplements I have used. As an avid hiker who always had to look for a tree to relieve myself during my hikes; after I began using this saw palmetto supplement, I can actually finish my hikes without having the urge to pee. I also have a habit of drinking a glass of water before bed to flush out my kidneys, and I usually don’t need to relieve myself during the night. As a 60yo, this is a testament to the efficacy of this product. I strongly recommend it. I’m on my 4th or 5th bottle. I take two capsules in the morning, and two mid to late afternoon.

For the price these were a good deal. They are more potent than the Walmart brand I bought and so I take 2 pills daily and the have made a small dip in my PSA. I will increase the dosage on next bottle, but the last brand was 75 MG lower per pill and one a day. Did very little. Happy with the results of this brand.

At about 14USD for 250 capsules, these Saw Palmetto capsules are a good deal. While there are many reasons that Saw Palmetto is supposed to be a boon, I take these for my urinary tract health. So far, it seems to have worked since I am not having issues with infections or kidney stones since I have been taking them. If I do, I might have to reevaluate them... though it is also supposed to help with hair loss prevention. I am rating these four stars, as they are affordable and a major name brand at an affordable price. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

You may not want to read this. It’s just my experience, though. No doctor confirmation. I had pain in urination and low flow. Started taking saw palmetto. It really helped! But it didn’t quite make the problem go away. I realized that every time I drank coffee it would flare up again, even just a little bit! I also have issues with my eyes when I drink it. It seems that tea and tomatoes do this to me, too. Could be the acid. Could be a freak allergy, but I would suggest you try stopping coffee and tea for a few weeks and see if it helps you. I have not needed the saw palmetto anymore. I know now to avoid the cause. I drink dandelion root now. No caffeine, but no crash from caffeine either!

Men of a certain age nearly all experience some enlargement of the prostate, and find it a bit harder to pee, especially at night. When I noticed this happening, I remembered a friend who'd taken saw palmetto and had great results, so I added it to my nighttime supplement load. Noticed a big difference in 3 or 4 days. Been taking it for several years now. No interactions with the 2 other things a take. No long-term side effects. Just free-flowing relief! LOL!

It works for me; two a day does the trick. Much lower price than competitors.

I was using a different slightly more expensive brand that seemed to be stronger. This brand was cheaper and i think it has larger dosage. But whatever it is, it doesn't seem to work as well. I'm going back to the other brand.
