This is a good quality pan that is non-stick as claimed and is easy to clean. It's decently priced, and has held up well in the months we've had it. There's just one important proviso. It has a regular long handle on one side and a short "grip" handle on the other side. The long handle stays cool to the touch during cooking; however, the "grip" handle gets hot. As in, too hot to handle. It makes you drop it instantly so you don't get burned, which isn't good in a pan. It would be better not to have that handle there, as you're lulled into thinking you can pick it up when it's hot, but you have to put on an oven mitt to do it. I think the manufacturer should heat-proof that handle on the other side, and then this would be a five star pan.Update on 3-11-19One other note re: non-heat-proof sections of the pan - the lid has a knob-shaped black handle, and that part is heat-proof; however, the circular black piece that attaches the knob to the glass of the lid is not. When I picked up the lid while cooking, the bacon in the pan started to pop, so I held up the lid as a shield. When I did, the circular black piece was so hot, I nearly dropped the lid. The pan and lid are still in daily use, but handled carefully.

I love using this pan for things that tend to splatter because the deep sides are good at controlling that. the non-stick works very well. It's much bigger than I expected though and is a bit difficult to get under my faucet in my dual sink. It also had a problem when I was trying to cook something on the highest temp for 20 minutes on my induction cooktop. The pan never reached the temperature I needed and actually smelled a bit like it was starting to burn after awhile. But, for things like ham steaks, pancakes, fried veggies, etc. it works very well.

Love, Love, LOVE this large skillet from Utopia Kitchen! It is a quality piece to grace our kitchen and I use it at least once a day. It is truly non-stick and only takes a wipe with a soapy dishcloth and a quick rinse to be good as new. It's large enough to make most meals for our family of 6 (unless I make a BIG pot of soup!) AND it goes in the oven up to 400°If you do not have wood, nylon or silicone utensils, now is the time to invest. They are inexpensive, you can find them almost anywhere, and this skillet will last forever if you use a little care. I threw out our old skillet that this one replaces.One caveat: the lid is glass and the knob is a screw-on. It comes loose with use, so check it each time you wash it. You do not want to have to replace it.For the money, this is undoubtedly the best!

Easy to use, easy to clean, can make many different dishes in it

What a great value! This skillet is big.enough to braise 4 servings of meat, and deep enough to pan-fry things too. It even came with a glass lid, for simmering! If it lasts even a few years, it will have been worth it.
