Mellbree Garbage Disposal Parts for Insinkerator, 75499 Flex Coupler Replacement Parts Compatible with Insinkerator Anti-Vibration Tailpipe Replaces Part Number 74085

This (original) part wore out and split on our garbage disposal, and our local big box didn’t carry it, so 2 day shipping it was! Got here as advertised, probably the easiest repair project I’ve ever done. Fit perfect and I’ve ran the dishwasher and disposal twice now and no leaking. Pretty happy about it!

This flex coupler worked perfectly as a replacement for my Insinkerator disposal. The old one had started to crack and was causing some vibration and noise. This replacement fit correctly and installed without any issues. The rubber feels durable and the clamps tightened down securely. Once installed the disposal ran much smoother and the extra vibration was gone. Overall it’s a simple part but it solved the problem and seems well made.

It’s a great fit for the insinkerator disposal. It arrived on time and in proper packaging. It is without a doubt a very nice bargain. Plus,the installation was straight forward and only took a few minutes. The only issue I encountered was with the screw that came with the coupler did not quite fit. I would recommend that customers keep the original screw that came with the Insinkerator

Fit properly. Fairly soft durometer so that it was flexible. Came with a metric bolt, my application was SAE thread, just put a regular stainless steel hardware store bolt there Can't comment on long-term reliability yet. Ask me in five years
