2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Easy fitment and easy instructions - bolts line up as required, with no mechanical interference. I had to release a large cable connection. Zipped tied to re-secure. See photos. We’ll see how long it lasts, but it works as a great step to the tailgate, and looks stock.

Well, I am older than middle age these days. Although I can enter the bed using the tailgate, or stepping on the tire, the step is so much easier and I have used it a lot to load up the truck while loading up and unloading the truck for a trip. It works great for me. I am using it on a 2024 power wagon and it fit perfectly with the existing holes. There is the wiring harness that you have to deal with, I rotated it slightly to get clearance, then cut off a piece of the foam that was in the box that the step came in and tie wrapped it around the step to provide a cushion between the step and the wiring. I make it a habit to face perpendicular to the direction the truck is facing when using the step because one reviewer said his broke, and if you are entering at 45 degrees your crotch will be right over the point of the tailgate. My step works and has not failed me but I always think about the possibities if things go wrong. I always support myself with both hands while using the step as well. I weigh between 210 and 220 usually- for reference. The price is very good for this step. I read one review that said the step fell off while driving, so I checked the tightness of the Allen bolts holding the hinge pins in when I installed it also. Everything was good. Very happy with my purchase, bought one for my son as well.

Great value for the money and fitment. Be careful torquing the bolts. The smallest bolts threads were easily stripped. Otherwise great product.

Works great. My 26 2500 was way taller than my 1500. I didn't want to pay Ram $300 for the Mopar branded one. This one looks exactly the same. I am 250lbs. Holds me just fine. Installation wasn't bad. My dad saw it and wanted one for his truck. So I ordered him the version for his truck. Installed that for him. It was also super easy to install. Wish i had put this on my old truck.

I'll start off saying this product fit perfectly. I expected to have to do a little trimming of the plastic bumper surround based on others' comments. It wasn't necessary, in fact there was a space between the foot step and the surround. Like all assembly instructions using photos and hieroglyphs it was just a little challenging to follow but once I was under the truck and could see the bolt pattern it all made sense. The parts all fit together nicely and seem to be very sturdy. The OEM bolts were removed easily. I used the supplied bolts to install (not the OEM bolts). The OEM bolts are about 1/2 inch shorter and there seemed to be no advantage in using them to reinstall so I was thankful for the new bolts. That said this is where the problems arose. I was up and down from under the truck to the tool box at least a dozen times getting the correct fitting sockets, drivers and extensions. So word to the wise test fit a socket on the bolt heads before getting to work and have all your tools on the ground in-place. These are the tools I ended up using. - 2 torque wrenches (3/8" and 1/2" drive; the 3/8" torque wrench to torque the small bracket bolt to the step at 16.6 ft-lbs; the 1/2" drive long handle torque wrench to torque the larger bolts to the truck frame at 50 ft-lbs and 140 ft-lbs), - 15mm x 1/2" drive socket, - 24mm x 1/2" drive socket and a - 6" x 1/2" drive extension plus a - 3/8" drive socket (don't recall the size) for the small bolt. Hand tighten all the connections before torquing! Overall a great product! I would recommend it.

Just installed and pretty impressed. Time will tell if it holds up, since some reviews were not positive related to durability. Many reviews mentioned a difficult install and picture only directions. It was super easy to install following the pictures and only took about 20 minutes to do it. It matches my truck and most importantly, when stowed, you have to look for it to see it unlike other brands. That way, no one can make fun of me for being old until I have to use it.

Easy to install on vehicle and works great. Way less price then what the dealers are asking for.

You do need a torque wrench to install it properly. The instructions were quite easy to follow even tho they are only diagrams. It is quite sturdy, drops down easily with your foot, and returns easily as well. Much needed to get into the back of the Ram 2500. I used to carry a 3 step stepladder to get in and out. No longer needed!

Fits like a glove, super easy to install. The 2500’s sit very tall and this step makes it so much easier to get in & out of the box. Nice quality, treads match the OEM treads on the bumper. Hopefully it lasts for the life of the truck. A+ 👍🏻
