Decent 24V Saw
Picked up some new tools during the 2025 Black Friday period. The saw was the last thing... maybe. Functions as a reciprocating saw should function. I am NOT a contractor so this will only see moderate use. So far I am happy with all the Kobalt 24V tools I have bought. Good value, can use the other batteries, not too heavy, not too loud, and does the job.

Received a newer model
I received a Kobalt (KRS 224B-03 Newer) which replaces the model listed here (Kobalt KRS 1824B-03 (This model). Newer model has 2 speed settings and does not have the side latch used to replace the blade. Also has less vibration per a review I read that was overall favorable that compared the two models. Great value and I'm sure it will do what I need it to for many years.

what a great saw i have kobalt drills. 24 volt 1/2 inch impact an 3/8 impact also 1/4 inch switched to kobalt about a year ago used to have dewalt from home depot for years batterys would last from 6 to 8 months just for personal use. will stick with kobalt.
