42mm Binocular/Monocular Objective Lens Caps Internal Diameter 51.8-53.3mm Rubber Cover Set Black, (51.8-53.3LC)

If you're like me, you might be wondering... Do I get the 50.5-51.8mm or the 51.8-53.3mm. Well after trying both I can say definitely get the 51.8-53.3mm. Because the Prostaff P3/P7 has a thick rubber armor the smaller of the two was too tight, you almost have to force it a little around the lens. With the 51.8-53.3 you just push it in and it fits perfectly snug, not loose or too tight. The quality of these is fairly good. I was worried they'll be too much flex on the cap but it has a nice balance between flex and stiffness. I would prefer it to be a slightly stiffer/harder but it's still good the way it is. The edges are cut perfectly smooth. One noticeable thing I like is when the cap is off, it goes straight down and out of the way of the viewing lens as shown in the photo. Definitely recommend.

I used these on Bushnell 10x42 binoculars and they work quite well. The original end caps fell off whenever the binoculars were removed from the case. The new lens caps fit snugly and the tether keeps the caps with the binoculars. I used a set of calipers to measure the size of the objective including the binocular body with its waterproof coating to ensure purchasing the correct size.

There are pretty good replacements

These generic eye piece covers worked perfect on the 8X42 binoculars. The caps covered 8X42 binoculars tightly protecting the glass, opened easily for use and stayed on the bins during use do you could leave them on all the time.

Good value, nice quality, fit well.

This was OT the right size, but I eventually ordered and received the 51.3 mm size. Yet, it seemed too loose on my Nikon Monarch HG 8x42 binoculars. Then I tried something. I removed both of the objective lens covers that came with the binoculars, and in their place, I installed the rubber rings that Nikon sent to replace them, THEN the 51.3 mm size fit PERFECTLY! Operates very well. Problem solved.

Used these as lens caps for Streamlight TLR-1 HPL's, they fit perfectly!
