I NEVER leave reviews unless the product is stellar. I LOVE this poly nail set! I finally found a product that does what it says it will do. It lasts! Showers, baths, hand washing and endless dishes and they have not budged. I’m on day 10 and these babies don’t feel like they will fall off anytime soon. I just bought a nail drill today and applied a UV gel color on top. I highly suggest getting the drill from Sally’s as well it was only $37. They are strong but at the same time feel lighter than traditional acrylic nails. More natural. I feel like this is as close as I’ve gotten to a professional salon visit as I can get at home. I have a long way to go before I’ve perfected it as I just started doing my nails at home but I’m so happy with it! No more long nail salon trips or spending hundreds each month on acrylic nail sets! Update: Since my first purchase the only negative is the white poly color breaks off easily! At least in my experience that’s what I’ve noticed. The pink and pink nude poly colors seem to be indestructible and last for 2/3 weeks but the white color is much more sensitive and the nails break easily. Bummer too because the white is my favorite and so beautiful.

This kit really has it all! First of all, it comes beautifully packaged with everything set in foam so it’s kept safe for shipping. Second, it literally just has everything you would need to start using polygel. The instructions were super clear and easy to follow and for my first try, I’m pretty happy with the results! I also want to add some small things that I think are important to know when using this kit. - When you put on the base coat and cure it, if it’s still tacky that is totally normal and fine. It won’t be sticky once you cure the polygel and top coat it. - The kit comes with a file that works great, but I would still recommend a nail drill for a quicker file. Especially if you’re new to it, it’ll probably come out pretty chunky if you aren’t used to how much you need per nail. - The UV light does have a timer in it, you just can’t see it counting down, but it does turn off once the time is up. - The UV light has a USB cord that does not come with the wall adapter, so you will need your own to plug it in. But, yes this kit is great and I highly recommend it. I’ve included a couple pictures of my nails with this so you can see how they’ll look. The clear is only the polygel with top coat and the second picture is what it looks like after I polished them. I feel like I went to the salon and got them done!

The poly gel is very easy to use, though I found it better to wipe the excess slip solution from the top or sides rather than dipping the brush in, as even if I wipe the excess or the brush, it can still be too much and make the gel too sticky. I have yet to try all the colors in this kit but the pink nude poly gel is definitely my favorite one I've tried so far I normally stay away from color and do cleat or white and paint over it senses all previous colors I've tried are too pink and the nude colors look either too ashy or too dark or just some combination of the two on my skin tone but this one is the exact color of my nails when when I squeeze it and th fingers get flushed I've been looking for that color as I've it makes the perfect nude I got this set because I thought this color would work and I was not at all disappointed with the shade☺️ ❕❕ I did notice that the seal on the slip solution containers was open, and two of the poly gel ones were missing when I first opened the box. I'm not going to bother returning it since it seems to be all still full, though. Thankfully the slip solution didn't spill ❕❕ Overall it's a great kit I really love the small light as well I put nail clips on to keep the nail form down and while I'd like to cure it all at once I can't fit my full hand into my big light like that and I've always felt like doing it One at a time in that one exposes my too much more UV light than necessary so I really enjoyed it.

Salon quality nails at home - this application is user friendly yet will still require some technical work and tips to get the application consistent. Since this is a self application kit working on your less dominant hand is easier , getting the technique down makes things go much faster and smoother in the long run for the other side. Very happy about the quality of products and the overall kit. See video for more detailed aspects I ran into as a first time user ! So obviously I posted a picture with this review, only to show you I was only able to accomplish one freakin nail before I gave up😤 I did my thumb nail and it looks really good if only I could do the rest of my nails like this! Once I tried moving onto my pointer finger etc, I had to put the poly gel stuff on the fake nail like 3 different times because every time I would go to lay it down on my natural nail, it wouldn’t stay down on it. And you cant push hard or the gel will come out the sides (you can kinda see that at the top of my thumb nail) so then I tried putting it on there and holding it with another finger as I cured it underneath the light long enough to get it to stick but it wouldn’t so after trial and error several times I just put it all away. My hands were so sticky afterwards and it was just a mess; THE SELLERS AND EXPERTS MAKE IT LOOK SO DANG EASY UNTIL ITS TIME FOR A FIRST TIMER TO DO THEIR OWN! 😩😩 Still good product for the moneys worth, I just clearly don’t know what I’m doing lmao

If you're thinking about purchasing polygel, then I suggest you give this one a try! This was my first time ever trying polygel and I am so pleased with my results. The instructions were easy to follow and I watched several YouTube videos as well to help me. It takes a while to do each hand. But I'm sure it'll take less time once I get used to it. This is a beginners set, imo. I used pink nude and the tubes seem to be just enough to get 1 or maybe 2 full sets out of them. Someone suggested using a professional nail drill so I bought one and it was definitely worth it. Make sure to cure under the nail. The professional drill will help to buff under the nail as well if the gel is too lumpy or thick. I'll be using this for the foreseeable future, and can't wait to try out all the different colors they offer and in bigger sizes.

I am so impressed with this kit and how my nails turned out!!!! They look natural, seem durable, and somewhat flexible. I hate thick, fake looking nails and these couldn’t be farther from it!! The kit is beautifully packaged and of great quality. I’ve never used poly gel before but after the second nail I had the hang of it. First time took me about 45 mins start to finish. This is the light pink (I am in love with these natural colors). *Would recommend having the little single UV light for applying each nail (The clips didn’t work for me…I just turned the light on and pressed each nail on underneath the light and held there for 10 secs until it could hold, then continued under light until fully cured [30-60secs], and then a larger UV light (purchase separately) to cure all nails at one time for base and top coats to save time). *Be careful not to press nail on right against cuticle because when you press it spreads. *Once cured, you can shape as needed, then wash with water, dry, and then when you apply the top coat all of the dry areas that you filed will look shiny again. *Knowing now that I will continue to use this kit to do my own nails, I have ordered an electric file (like a nail dremmel) to clean up excess underneath nails once cured. Massage oil into cuticles and enjoy gorgeous nails at a fraction of the cost!

ok so, the application and colors r sooo cute, but the slip solution is a little weird. it's not watery, and it's almost like syrup. it cures under uv light and makes the nails look nasty lol. so be sure to be not so generous w the slip solution, actually avoid using it entirely. i would use something like isopropyl alcohol. other than that it's an amazing kit 9/10 would buy again
