Practical LSD Manufacture 3rd edition

This book houses a plethora of different methods for LSD manufacture, though all of them are far out of reach for the average consumer. As the author stipulates in the preface, it is best left to those with a background in organic chemistry to attempt to make the substances outlined in the text. Besides that, it is a very easy to read and understand guide about the many different methods of production of this illicit, mind-expanding drug. The cover art (and previous knowledge of Uncle Fester's writings) is what drew me initially to this book. I would recommend this to anybody who likes the counterculturual aspects of the book or legitimate organic chemists with clandestine laboratories and no care about the law.

I bought this book to learn of different chemistry techniques and to understand some organic chemistry work that is used to extract alkaloids that come from the rye plant.

Priceless information 🌞

I purchased this out of sheer curiousity - what goes into the manufacture of this powerful chemical agent, and what kind of individual would write a how-to manual. I was impressed with the concise, clear quality of the writing. Despite the author's wholly unapologetic treatment of the subject, I found their intellect and humor to be refreshing. I cannot speak to the informational quality of the text, as I have never manufactured LSD, nor do I intend to - however, the text was detailed technically, and full of practical safety tips. At the same time that I found the text, and it's mere existence, fascinating and refreshing, I also felt a bit sad that such an excellent intellect is wasted on illicit activities, and slowly degraded by consumption of their product.
