Review: Quality of products - It was very easy to install. We are using it for our church. The quality of the product is very good, the remote is awesome! It was a great value for the money. Review: Poor company/product support - We ordered this but once the remote went bad, there were no other remotes available for replacement and no other projector available for placement. And customer support replied once and offered a refund for just the remote. But never heard or received the refund. Very disappointed!!!!!

Up and down on its own, good picture
I imagine there are some high-end screens out there that really give your picture that something extra but we've been using this for a couple years now and there isn't anything we'd change. I have it hanging in a bonus room over a garage where the big 100 inches just fits between the angled walls. This also means it blocks out one of the two windows. That's where the motorized function comes in and we love being able to switch between light and movie night without issue. Being motorized is much better than trying to pull it to just the right length and struggle to find the locking point. Not only is it easy to use but we've enjoyed many movies on it. Nothing particularly special but even with lights on it's visible and it looks great.

Crappy packaging and missing parts the manufacturer can't replace.
I received the first shipment that came in and broken up box via UPS missing the remote control. I was promised a replacement that the manufacturer could not produce and the 2 additional screens that came in broken boxes also missing the remote control. I was very patient with them, but after over 2 months of trying to get a complete product, I gave up and Amazon issued me a refund. Keep in mind this is an 8' long box, so it is not to handle and ship back. I ordered one from Aoxun on Amazon and it came in a perfect undamaged unopened box with the remote control and mounting screwed included.

Occasionally needs a reset.
Sometimes the remote doesnโt work but a reset (cycle the power) fixes it.

Awesome motorized projector screen for home theater setup.
I picked up a projector a couple weeks ago and was looking for a motorized screen when I came across this one. I wanted something that could be mounted up inside a recess, so that when it's not in use you wouldn't know it was there. This thing fit the bill. The housing is slightly over 98" long. It's made of a thin painted sheet metal. The only issue I could find was with the lower lip where the screen goes up into the housing. It was a bit wavy with a couple spots that looked slightly bent. I was able to bend it nearly straight with light pressure from my thumb, so it's not too big an issue. It'll also be hidden up in a cavity in the ceiling, so no one would ever see it. There are two ways to mount it. Two screw holes in the back to mount it to a wall, or two D-rings with supplied J-hooks to mount it on the ceiling. The wired remote in the power cord has the same buttons as the wireless remote. Up, Down, and Stop. The wired one has a power indicator light on it that is always lit when the screen is plugged in. They supply four screws and four drywall inserts. Two for mounting the screen to a wall, and I believe the other two are for mounting the wired remote to the wall as well. They're too big for the wireless remote mount, so you'll need to supply two of your own screws for it. The screen is roughly 67" h with a 11-3/4" black border on the top and 87" wide. The diagonal of the white surface is 100". It's vinyl and appears easy to clean. There are no wrinkles or creases in it at all. It does have a heavy new vinyl smell to it that might bother some people, but I'm sure that it'll gas off in time and not smell as harshly. Videos from my projector come out super sharp and bright, even with a windowless curtain right next to it. I thick the upper black border is taller than the rest of the border to give you more wiggle room on where the viewable screen lands based on the mounting height. You can also adjust the limit switch for the up or down stop positions. This makes it great for mounting it up in a recess in the ceiling, which is what I plan on doing with it. Overall, this is a great motorized projection screen for a small home theater setup. Well worth the asking price. It's nearly silent going up and down and renders the image from my projector perfectly. I love it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for something similar. Hope this helps.

Flawed, but Great Value
The value of this projector screen is great... but it's not without issues. Setup is very easy. It comes with two hooks, four bolts and four anchors. I used two anchors in a slanted ceiling for the hooks, and it easily holds through just drywall - I have no concerns with it falling out. I drilled with a 1/4 inch bit. The chassis of my screen was 98 inches long, and I set the hooks about 97.25 inches apart to land near the middle of the hanging loops. The power cord measures about 8 feet overall, with 50 inches between the screen chassis and the control box, and 46 inches from the control box to the AC prongs. I find this to be too short for my use case, but nothing that can't be put on an extension cord. The control box gets pretty warm, even when not in use... this is concerning to me, because all it's doing when on standby is waiting for a RF signal from the remote. I also wish you could turn off the remote control function - it hasn't happened yet for this particular projector control, but RF controls have a tendency of randomly triggering due to random RF spikes in the airwaves. The controls (both remote and wired) work quite well. I had to mark my own controls for "Up" and "Down", but the controls are prompt and the pause works immediately. The motor scrolls very slowly, but it keeps scrolling until it bottoms out or your press pause, so the speed really doesn't matter to me. The screen surface is of good quality - it's evenly coated, and reflects light nicely. The tarp it's painted on, though, is rolled up on the edges, and has wrinkles all over it. If you have a projector far away, it won't matter much, but this will definitely not be good for short-throw projectors. The bottom of the white portion of the screen can drop a maximum of 60.75 inches from the BOTTOM of the chassis - you can always hang the chassis from chains or string if you need more of a drop. Overall, this does not replace a high end projector screen. The wrinkles and rolled edges makes it non-competitive with the high end, but for a budget choice for non-picky users, this is an excellent option.
