Secure minimalist design
This Echogear Wall Surge Protector is a very useful adapter with a minimalist design. 🔸 The width is the same as the wall plate - about 3 inches wide. 🔸 The depth is 2 inches from the wall and with its pivoting plugs makes it so useful for any type of plug as well as when the outlet is in a tight space behind furniture. NOTE: although the outlets pivot, you can only plug in when the outlet is facing front or sideways. 🔸 Keep in mind that the outlet sits flush to the top of the wall plate (if mounted into the top outlet) YET hangs below the wall plate about 2 inches. This may be an issue when installing in a kitchen counter outlet where the countertop or backsplash may be in the way. (Wall plates are about 4 inches tall and this adapter is 6 inches). Obviously, it will hang lower if mounted to the bottom outlet but that will also give you access to the top outlet. 🔸 The top front of the adapter has a slight lip to hold something like a charging phone. 🔸 If mounted to the top outlet, the adapter screws into the wall plate and makes the adapter very secure. There is also a small plastic plug to cover up the screw hole and is a very nice touch. I originally used the Echogear in a different outlet and realized that the outlet was NOT grounded - even though it is a 3-prong receptacle. I moved the Echogear to another outlet which does show as grounded and am using an extension for the plugs until the outlet can be remedied. See pictures. So, thank you Echogear for that information, lol. I can't comment on it’s surge protection capabilities or its longevity since I’ve only had it for several weeks. But it is currently performing well and works perfectly for the tight space I needed it for. I will be buying a couple more of these Echogear’s adapters. Thus far, this was a good purchase.

Terrific Surge Solution
I was very excited to find these. I was mounting a TV on the wall and was planning on routing the cables behind the wall, but didn’t want to have a bulky surge protector plugged in to the outlet. This device allowed me to plug it in directly behind the TV where it’s out of sight and protecting my electronic from electrical surges. It is thick enough to feel that it’s a solid device, but thin enough to fit and look flush against your outlet. I don’t like bulky. In addition, one of the best features about it is, that you can turn each individual outlet which makes it easier for you to plug in multiple things at once. I could not use the screw that came with it because my outlets are rounded and the screw wasn’t long enough. If I want to use the screw to secure it to the outlet, I would have to change them to the square electrical outlets. Of course you can buy longer screws as this might be less expensive and time consuming. I purchased two of these and I really don’t think they have to be secured. They fit nice and snug and look neat against the wall. Love them. Hope they do their job well!

Great quality, value for the money. Pivoting outlets, very convenient.
Reliable, long lasting, high quality - especially with the rotating plugs. Great value since you almost never have to replace them

Only one thing is needed for this to be the perfect product.
It does what it says on the tin. You can swivel the outlets. You can plug things in. It acts as a surge protector and it gives you more outlets out of a single outlet. I'd like to see the design altered slightly in a several distinct ways to improve its overall fit and finish. One, I think it would be good for the device to have a hole for a support screw. This device only plugs into a single outlet, and when there are cables hanging on it that outlet is doing a lot of work. From there, I would like to see an optional "dummy plug" that could slot in and also provide support via the unused outlet. Perhaps, this could even be used to distribute the electrical load between the two, but totally not needed. It would just act to keep the device from levering against the single outlet like it does at present. Finally, I think a good extra option could be to offer a panel kit for it. Remove the cosmetic panel, add your own that flushes it out against the wall and makes it look like it's built in. Again, not needed but would take it to the next level. The one star missing here is for the anchor screw. Other 6 outlet adapters, even those that use both outlets for electrical connectivity, have this feature. It's critical for safety.

Works well! But don't forget the screw!
Make sure to use the screw it comes with or it will be extra flimsy! It works well and I haven't had any problems with the installation. The one screw could be easily lost though, so make sure to check the box for something wrapped in a lot of tape (I pushed mine through to get it out versus cutting or unwrapping that packing tape). No defects found yet, and for the price it works well as an extra protection for my heater or 3d printer.

A versatile surge protector
Easy to handle not very large surg protector, exactly what I need for my application. It has 6 outlet that are able to rotate to the side. This is a great option if you need to plug more than two devices in your outlet. If you plug a large brick charger like some of those for tablets just turn the outlet to the side that will makes it almost parallel with the wall. That will also prevent from taking away used from the outlet next it. Which is one of the biggest issue from non rotating ones. Not only that if you plug this in the bottom of your outlet from the wall, you still be able to use the top socket. This one comes with a surge light and ground indicator. It does not come with USB sockets. Overall it works as advertised it is very versatile, easy to use and it's very affordable. Definitely a good option for small applications.

Compact and versatile
I needed a very compact surge protector for my bathroom vanity where there is a wall receptacle mounted sideways just above the backsplash and below a medicine cabinet. The distance between the medicine cabinet door and the stone backsplash is barely wider than the wall plate for the receptacle, so I needed something that would fit this spot. A product picture (at the time of purchase) shows the width as 3.9", which would be too wide for my purpose, but judging from the pictures and other reviews, it is actually just barely wider than a wall plate, so just barely over 3" (I don't have calipers for a more precise measurement). I took a chance and ordered it despite the confusing measurements and I was very pleased to find out that it did fit in the spot, which is just barely wider than the space of the wall plate. The individually rotating outlets is a very nice touch to maximize the use of the available outlets. The only downside of this unit is that the mounting hole is for regular outlets whereas for my application I have a GFDI outlet, so my only option is to just plug it in. Without the permanent mount, I have to be sure to hold down the surge protector when I'm unplugging stuff so that I won't pull the whole thing off the wall. But given that the product never claimed to be GFDI-outlet mountable I would not deduct a star for an otherwise great and compact surge protector.

Great Outlet!
This outlet is a game changer. It really helped us out with the battle between the bookshelf and the wall outlet. The way the bookshelf is angled made the outlet unusable.
