UPDATE: I contacted the seller directly through their website, and the seller replaced the product. I have had no issues with the replacement brace, and it has held up very well. The seller contacted me within hours (on a Saturday, no less), and I had a new brace within days. I have had no problems with the new brace, and it has held up well for months of use. Great customer service and merchandise. I’m leaving the old review below for archiving purposes. ORIGINAL REVIEW I am really disappointed with this product. It seemed well-constructed. It was comfortable. It provided lots of support. It was taller than most braces, which I liked because I am tall, with my height in my torso. I really liked the dual straps that made getting the brace tight very easy. However, after just a month of use, which was not strenuous or daily (mostly for extended periods riding/driving in the car), the boning popped out of its casing. It appears that the casing needs reinforcement and/or the boning needs padding in order to not wear through the casing. Once the boning escapes, it will poke the wearer. If removed, the garment no longer had the structure and support that makes it useful. This was a very short time for this type of wear: I had received the product literally a month to the day before the product broke, and I did not utilize the product consistently during that time. With less than a month of use, it came apart.

Item came on time and in good condition. The back support brace appears to be made of good quality material and seems to work just fine. I am still using it periodically but so far everything is going well. I have received a couple of emails from vendor making sure everything is ok and I am pleased with the brace. This brace is easy to put on and four stays in the back that help to give extra support unlike a couple of other similar devices I have used in the past. As with other back braces however, I would suggest that one wears it over a shirt or other piece of clothing particularly if you are conducting any prolonged activity that produces perspiration. I have found that if you don't the perspiration tends to roll down into your pants or shorts. So far I am very pleased with this brace and would recommend it to others.

ive tried many different brands, mostly velcro is the failure point. on this particular one, i like that the length is quite good so it wraps around well, velcro is good so far and lots of support. time will tell, i wear it daily (3 actually) to support torso and limit articulation/twisting of trunk due to several vertebral injuries coupled with age and lifestyle. this is quality compared to most ive gone through in the past few years.

This brace is made of very good material, and fits well, without moving around. Having degenerative disc disease, and multiple bulging discs, I look for any alternative for pain relief. I won't take pain medications anymore, like doctors tell me to do, so back pain is part of my daily life. Having this product, I can go about my daily routine, and not have to worry about holding gel packs on my back. Before I had to hold it in place, put it on a flat surface while laying down over it, and any other way possible to keep gel packs in place (I've tried them all). Very hard to do on your back, unless you're way more flexible than me.. This brace gives you freedom, and mobility, while getting relief. That's something very important for me, and if you ever experience my injuries, you'll know what I mean (I wish that on no one). It's very hard to keep them in place normally, also too hot/cold holding by hand continuously, and this eliminates that problem. If you suffer from back pain, and don't want to stop your day because of it, get this product and keep moving. Great for back support, needing cooling treatment, and heat relief through the lined pocket on the inside of the brace. I suggest getting their gel packs, since they are made to fit by size, but any gel pack will work, if it fits in the gel pack holder built in. Whether it's for great back support, or cold/heat treatment, I suggest trying out this product by Old Bones Therapy. I give it ☆☆☆☆☆! Don't waste your money on store bought hot/cold stick on relief, because you can't keep reusing them, and they aren't cheap. This product is a win win, if you need support, or use hot/cold therapy for back pain relief. This is a must have product for me. From someone who has suffered injuries and pain, for over half of my life, I know you won't regret this purchase. Keep on keeping on!

Works better than any other belt we've tried (including $200 Dr. Ho's decompression belt) for injury caused , as well as genetic disc and spinal issues. My husband was basically immoble until he tried this belt. We only had a size issue and needed it larger. Before I had to even go through Amazon for my exchange Brandon had already sent two emails ensuring our happiness with the product and letting us know if we needed anything to let him know. I reached out to him about the belt size issue and he had a new one on the way that same day. He truly is a man of integrity absolutely cares about his customer satisfaction of his products. We also immediately received a 15% discount for anything on his site after our purchase of the back belt. If you are considering buying this belt I say do not hesitate. The product is great and the integrity of the man behind the product is unbelievable. Will definitely be doing business again.

Greatly reduces back pain when on. My back pain is chronic, herniated discs and degenerative. Thankful for the support this provides. I tested it out for a few weeks and found it can greatly relieve my back Pain when I get flare-ups fairly well. The system works by tightening Velcro straps stitched onto an elastic band around your mid-section on both sides. Repeated use..removing and putting on the brace has caused a rip in the seam that joins the Velcro to the elastic part of the brace. The Velcro portion started pulling away on one side meaning reduced support as the brace would not hold properly when tightened... disappointing build quality in that regard. Those stress points should be better reinforced. Some needle and thread fixed that. Less than a month of use...I shouldn't have to repair a brace because I use the brace. Worried that it may eventually rip away again so 3 Stars. When and if it goes again I will not be buying this brand again I will do better research to ensure the closing and opening features on future braces are properly reinforced.

The product fits as advertised. Pros and Cons below: Pros: 1. It fits well and does help support my back. I wear it all the time I'm awake. 2. It stretches well and the stretch bands add a little extra support and tightness for weight lifting. 3. Doesn't slide down much, and is easy to pull up if needed. 4. Made of Neoprene and does not cause sweating. Cons: 1. A little larger than I needed, I have a 44" waist and the XL was a bit too large, probably end up buying a smaller one when I lose more weight. 2. Curls over at the top when wearing. My stomach is not solid but more loose and it tends to fill in the gaps, but it does go back to the correct shape if you keep it together and flat when not wearing. 3. There could be a little more support for the back; the four thin ribs do not provide quite enough support to be called a back brace. Overall, I like the product and would suggest it for larger people who aren't looking for a large amount of back support. It does not come with directions so I'll mention that the straps the person in the picture is holding out can stretch pretty far across the abdomen and adds tightness for weight lifting support without digging into your skin.

folks need to know if it's a good or bad product in my experience and opinion. I actually purchased 2 of these back braces 1 XL and 1 Medium for a relative didn't realize there would be a coupon in the packaging oh well. Well i will give you my experience with the XL felt okay had purchased a XXl returned it thought it was too long but the width was great good body coverage overall. Returned it for the XL was a bit on the thin side as far as the width was like the medium only a bit longer okay. In the beginning it felt good solid and would hold on tight around my body then after a couple of weeks the velcro would just snap like nothing I would squat down snap! bend over to tie my shoe's snap sit down snap any force whatsoever that I would do the belt on the right side would come apart. I have bought numerous back braces in the 30 dollar to 70 dollar range just putting this out there so you will know that I'm not just reviewing this item negative for what ever reason. Also don't know if it's just me or if others have experienced the issue of heat not being dispersed or sweat not wicking away I take the back brace off and around my body is the only part with sweat. Now the brace will move around "travel" up or down and the thick secondary strap ends where you grab on to it (Red squares) when bending down tend to stick me with the corners on top or on bottom or sides now that the velcro is failing that's where the position of the squares are at now and do leave a mark even though I am wearing a muscle shirt underneath. As far as the medium that was for the relative he only uses it for walking not like me for working therefore I would say this back brace is no good for workers there is a better brand out there that has been tested and proven by my experience to really hold good and give support it even has metal strips on the back of it for extra support which will be the one that I will be going back to. Will not return this item do not have the packaging for it have sweated all over it will just see what happens to it. Would recommend Old Bones to check out that velcro edge on the right side flap and to add a bit more support strips I don't know if they are plastic or metal can't tell and they would have a winner.
