Greenworks 24V 10 in Cordless Electric Chainsaw, 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger

This electric chainsaw exceeded my expectations. Much easier than gas and had no problem cutting 6 inch branches with ease. Battery life was better than expected. Lightweight and great for smaller jobs where firing up gas powered saw is undesireable.

No carb no gas. This is a great saw for trimming roads and trails. Battery life is acceptable unless you are cutting firewood. Mines been left in the rain on several occasions

Actually, just got it this morning. Fully charged the 24V, 2A battery, found out it did not offer USB-C port, like my other two Greenworks batteries. Filled the gear oil up to the half as a quick test run. The installation is quite straightforward, I make sure the saw direction is at the right direction and tight it up. I cut two tree trunks, one is 6" and one in 4" diameters, the saw is sharp and used total of less than two minutes to finish the jobs, the cutting is straight, no need to push it too hard to cut through it. Sure, it will be a handy tool for tougher job next to my 6" mini chainsaw, but I am a bit surprised to see the battery capacity dropped to 75%, for these two simple cuts. That's my concern, even I can use other Greenworks 24V batteries as backup. Other than that, I like its low operation noise, sharp saw and easy to handle it.

Nice little saw. I also bought the larger battery which really lasted a long time. I like the quick turn knob to release,tension and lock the bar into place, no tools to cary around. I did cut some 6-8 inch scrub oak with it and I had no problems. this saw as all of my outher saws will leak some bar oil so store it on something that will absorb oil.

Slow compared to a gas chainsaw. However, I don't mess with gas and it will never have a carburetor problem, ever. I use it a couple times a week as a professional landscaper. Trees and very large branches fall onto lawns that I mow. This simple, easy to use saw takes care of 99% them in no time with very little effort. The battery holds up far longer than I expected too. I did however purchase a package of 2 off brand batteries that function perfectly for cheaper than I could have purchased from the maker.

Everything is excellent about it durability battery life value for money noise cutting performance chain tightening it does it’s job for what it’s for I recommend it to anyone

what a crock of crap. I tried using it and it cut two times and the chain fell off. I put it back on and tried again only to get the same results. Plus oil leaks from somewhere. What a mess. Don't waste your money. You shouldn't have to "tighten" the chain after cutting one limb.
