Great/Quiet Fan
This fan works great as its quiet and can confirmed its compatible for lga1700 msi motherboards. I bought this for my i7-12700kf cpu as a replacement for my old stock intel i7 stock cpu fan and works like a charm. It was hard to find the right size and a strong fan for the cpu mentioned earlier; would recommend as it was easy to install since it has push pins instead of screws. It also has the thermal paste applied on the fan already so be careful when installing as it has no extra thermal paste on the side.

Push Pins are dogwater
The installation was a nightmare. Push pins are dogwater. You get one in the other pops out. I had to settle with just 3 in because I can't get all 4 to stay in. Bought this fan specifically to be easy to install and it was the worst part of the entire building process.

Pay A Little More for Something Better
ARCTIC Alpine 17 CO - CPU Cooler, 92 mm PWM FanTL;DR - This is certainly a budget cooler, so if you're pinching every penny and need something to simply "work", then this may be your best bet, but only for light/moderate loads. This cooler will work just fine for basic things like home/office use (internet browsing, Youtube, music/movies, Powerpoint, Word, etc.). Anything more - like 2K/4K gaming or especially video/audio editing - and it will likely struggle to maintain decent temps. If you plan on hardcore gaming or something more strenuous, then spend an extra $20 and get something better. (Off-topic: Quality air coolers CAN cool high end builds that run 4K resolution + high graphics so long as the rest of the case has good airflow; liquid cooling is not always needed!)The biggest drawback is the mounting scheme and will likely cause first-time builders to quit or not mount the cooler properly. It uses plastic push-down pins (and swivel to lock) to exert pressure on the motherboard mounting holes. There is no backplate which, in theory, is easier/faster to install, but in practice it's not. While this design works, it's an absolute pain in the butt to mount properly. I thought the motherboard was going to split due to the amount of pressure I had to apply just to get the pins to set. (For reference, I've installed many air and liquid coolers of various brands in the past - this one was by far the most stubborn.)Under a quick stress test and moderate load, the Arctic Alpine 17 CO cooler kept the 12600K at/under 65C. Functionally, it works (with performance limitations in mind) just fine.Came with thermal paste already applied; wasn't dried out and seems to be decent quality, though, unknown what brand it is.

Awesome for i5 and below gen intel processors
Wouldn’t recommend for i9 13th gen as it would overheat to 98 celcius, got one of the bigger fans and it does the job for standard usage but can’t push it. Ultimately ended up ordering a AIO water cooling system for my i9 13900k cpu
