Great for tailgating
Used this at the beach and at a concert. Cooked hamburgers and Hotdogs with no problem. Trick to keeping the chamber clean: Line it with aluminum foil....then when you want to put the coals out, pour water, fold up foil, and discard. Easy clean up. Very happy with this purchase

Perfect for Camping...
I love this combo pack although I use the cooler compartment to store charcoal. Great for a weekend camping trip. Only thing I wish there had been room for would have been a lid. Is very durable and attractive.

I love this little thing!
First and foremost, I did not buy this product from amazon, I bought it from a thrift store near-by. I was searching my usual spots for camping gear when I saw this round bag that had an over-the-shoulder strap... I unzipped it a bit and my first impression was of some sort of reinforced bag for soda cans, or cold storage for food.Since I hate buying junk that I won't use I decided to open the bag and look a little closer and I realized that it was a brand new, never used, charcoal grill... For 4 bucks, it is all I think I will need to cook camp dinners for my family. We actually got charcoal and used it last evening. Our only complaint was that it is somewhat smaller than we had in mind, but it works just fine--thank you very much!I lined the bottom with foil, then lit the coals. It was great, and for camping outside hook-ups this is a great way to assure that our propane tanks are only used for heating during winter months! I can't say how long this little thing will last, but it will only be used on our camping trips, so it may last longer for us compared to someone who wants to use it regularly at home. This is probably not a a suitable product for a backpacker/hiker because it is too much extra to carry around, and it might be a heavy option compared to the proven and accepted lightweight gear. It does, however, store nicely inside a tiny popup camper! :)This could be a great option for apartment dwellers with tiny balcony's since it is hibachi sized.I hope this helped...
