Almost perfect.
I'm a flashlight fanatic and I've purchased many of them for use both professionally and for personal use. This little gem is one of my favorites. Brightness: Pretty darned bright considering the size and the battery and you're probably not going to find anything brighter in this class. Color: The color is very good, just a little on the blue side but not obnoxious. If the temperature was any warmer you would loose lumens so it's a bit of a trade off. All things considered, I think they matched the color and brightness perfectly. Switch. The button has a nice rubberized feel and clicks nicely. It has a pretty solid feel to it and considering the price, is actually really good. It has a momentary function with just the right amount of tactile feel without having to press too much to engage the light. The constant on is equally nice. You do have to press further to get it to engage which is good since it helps to prevent it from accidental turning on in your pocket. Focus: The adjustable focus is perfectly executed. It has a nice solid feel when rotating. It will stay in the position you set it and won't creep one way or the other. It's full range of motion is a little over 360*. With it focused to it's tightest setting, it puts a nice bright, solid 7" spot at 2 feet and a 36" spot at 15 feet. At it's widest focus from 15 feet away, it illuminates a 14' wide room almost completely. The light quality at any focus point is absolutely perfect with a solid light, minimal halo and no dark spots. It's really quite amazing considering the price. Body: The body feels solid and has just the right amount of texture for a secure grip without being abrasive too your clothing. The body and focus ring are non tapered and have a consistent diameter of @ 15.75mm. The tail cap is @ 15.3mm in diameter. The length is 146mm at it's shortest and 150mm at its longest. The pocket clip is very solid with good spring tension, it doesn't feel like it would bend and loose its ability to hold in the pocket. The tail cap threads are well cut and tighten smoothly, no grittiness like I've experienced in other lights. There is a rubber o-ring that seals the cap nicely (no experience with it's waterproofing). Other observations: I haven't put it on a scale to weigh it but it feels just right. Light enough that I barely notice it in my shirt sleeve pocket but not too light to feel cheap. My only nit-pick might be the switch function. It cycles through High-Low-Strobe when in both momentary and constant on functions. First, I don't really see the need for a strobe function in a light this size and they could have omitted it as far as I'm concerned. Second, I wish that when it is in constant on mode that you could cycle through the other modes with the half-push of the button. Minor gripes that in no way deter from the other outstanding features of this light. Bottom line: This flashlight is really amazing and considering its price, simply phenomenal. I will probably buy a couple more just to have around in case these jump up in price or no longer become available. If you're considering this flashlight, do not hesitate getting it. I only wish I could give a long term evaluation of it but even if it only lasts a year, it's well worth it.

More value than cost
I was looking for a very small lightweight flashlight that I could clip on my belt or in edge of my pocket. I carry a multitul and a light with me all the time for my job and use them daily. Currently I sometimes carry and sometimes don't becuase of bulkiness my current led flash light that uses a 18650 battery. don't get me wrong it is a great flash light but just bulkier than feels comfortable in my pocket or I have to have a dedicated pouch on my belt along with the one already there for the multi-tool.. just annoying. I had looked at various options over the last few months and had decided to try a penlight. Based on specs and reviews they either seemed not very bright or extremely expensive for a bright quality one. Eventually I ran across this one that got decent if not super reviews on light quality and good reviews on the physical case and minimal focus/light modes. For 15 dollars I am very happy. So far the value and quality exceed what I paid which leaves me happy with it. The twist focus seems to work well. It isn't crisp at the edges but goes from a narrow beam that is to narrow and bright to easily use up close to a very decent brighter but more diffuse beam at the other end of the spectrum. I tend to use it at about the middle of its focal range. This thing is bright enough to hurt you if you get it shined in your eyes. So far in a month or two of use I carry it about 5 times more often than the larger one I was using. I haven't had to recharge the AAA Panasonic eneloop rechargeable batteries I am using in it. My happiness scale with it is in the value and function. It is high enough I have recommended it to several people when talking lights. It doesn't leave me with a fan boy high over the quality or features or brightness but at the same time I have yet to be irked at any feature or lack of feature, quality issue, battery life etc. This thing is a simple, cheap workhorse that just does its job competently if not flashily. :) ps... it's ok if you have to bash me for the punny

Here is how mode select works!
I'll put this right up front as this light is getting a LOT of bad reviews based on this. I know, I left one of them and came back to change it. So when you turn the light on, it starts out in the High mode. If you turn it off and back on or half way press the button you can put it into low or strobe. Once you turn the light off and leave it off for a delayed period of time(Not sure maybe 3 seconds?), it will go back to high mode when you turn it back on. There you have it. That's how it works. Thanks to the person that answered my question. This makes all the difference and I now have a much different opinion about the light, now that I do not feel the mode select is a guessing game. So, first off size is perhaps the best part of this light. It fits nicely in my work shirt and I can even close the breast pocket flap without a problem. It's light enough that it doesnt weigh your pocket down and look silly. The width is excellent and doesnt flare at the end as most lights do which would make it less comfortable in your pocket. This is a great little light and I can see it being handy for a multitude of situations. I use it for work. Now I have a hard time believing that this is 220 lumens. It is plenty bright, but I dont fully believe it is that bright. I have a 65 lumen quantum pen light from Harbor Freight that is comparable in brightness. Not quite as bright but close enough that there doesnt seem to be anywhere near 155 lumen difference. When I purchased this light, the focus was the biggest selling point as at work, I could frequently make use of all modes as well as flood lighting & spot lighting. Unfortunately the beam doesnt get quite as tight as I'd like to see it get and I think it's spot lighting ability is greatly hindered due to it. Also it seems to shed a lot of light outside of the primary beam area when it is focused in for spot lighting. Enough light that I think it would make a big difference if that light were directed correctly to the center of the beam. Minor malfunctions that may call for a replacement: I have noticed twice now, the light dim on me in high mode after I slightly shook the light. I have tried shaking it to replicate this but cant get it to do it. I'm not sure what the cause is, hoping it's nothing that requires me to get a replacement. I do think it is a big mistake on Infray's part not to include some directions as to how the mode select/memory is designed to work. I was very unhappy with this light yesterday and felt like it was an unreliable headache and a guessing game and ready to return this thing. If you look through other reviews, you'll see I'm not alone in that opinion. But having been informed by another buyer, my 1 star review is now a 4 star review.

Great little light! And BRIGHT!
I used to carry a Browning light pen, but can’t find it. (I refuse to acknowledge that it’s lost) I wanted a penlight to carry when I don’t have my work jeans and usual Pock-Its XL with my Nitecore SRT 5 and Leatherman Surge along. For such times as we eat out while I’m wearing slacks, I have a Glaree key chain light, which works pretty good, but isn’t as convenient as a penlight. I gave up finding a replacement Browning, I guess it’s a collector’s item now. This light is a surprise considering it’s size. I was expecting more along the lines of an ink pen, but it’s not that much larger, and the diameter makes sense considering it’s AAA powered. EBL rechargeable batteries work well. It’s a bit over 5 ½ inches long, and about a half inch in diameter, so not too bad in a shirt or blazer jacket pocket. Great optics, the beam is VERY wide, and will tighten down to a bright (squarish) spot for distance. There are no hot spots, but has a yellowish ring around the outside of the beam on wide flood, but isn’t bothersome. It’s most noticeable at close range like looking at a desk top or workbench. My SRT 5 is 750 lumens dialed up to max, and this light is an easy 220 lumens like the specs say. The photos were taken 20 feet from the workshop’s bay door. The R2D2 by the door is a shop vacuum. The light on wide angle puts out at least a 30 foot wide beam at that distance, and you can see how tight the spot is. The focus turns very easy, and the tail switch can be momentary or clicked on. Always starts out full bright, but each power cycle drops to about half output, and then strobe. You can half press the switch to get the mode you want, and click it to stay on that way. Nice, bright, solid little hunk of machined quality right up there with Fenix or Nitecore.

Not bad, but not good
Pros: nice size, very bright, like the focus feature, like the tactical click button. Cons: I’ve had this flashlight for under a month and it’s already failing. Sounds like the batteries are loose and there is a poor connection which is having the light flicker If doing frequent on and off, it won’t start back in the mode you had it on. It will cycle between all 3 modes (bright, low, strobe) unless you wait about 1-2 minutes between on and off, then it will start back in the mode you were last on. Right out of the box it seems like a good light and made with good quality. But, not even a month later of normal every day use, it’s failing. Very frustrating. I have a inova xp pen light that is my go to pen light. I have put that light to the test for over 3 years and it’s still running strong. Maybe I got a defective infray flashlight. Either way, it didn’t last and I’m going back to my trusty inova xp. Update: customer service reached out to me and provided an option for full refund or replacement. I selected the refund. Gave an extra star for the quality customer service.

Durable, and very bright
Works as advertised. I bought two about a year ago, I'm still using the first one! The brightness is more than adequate. The durability is exceptional. It's always in my pocket and tool bag, and still looks great.
