I wasn’t sure what to expect at this price point, but the affordability drew me in. I didn’t want to spend hundreds on a lens, and with Amazon Prime, there was no risk in giving it a try. After some initial testing, I’m genuinely surprised by the performance. The colors are a bit on the vibrant side, but that’s easily adjusted in-camera. Overall, I’m really satisfied—this lens has earned a spot in my bag. In my opinion, it’s well worth the cost and has exceeded my expectations.

Paired this with my 28-70mm lens on my a7iii and I love it for my shooting style. There’s a bit of distortion on the outer ring when fully zoomed out but that’s to be expected and I do wish there was more of a rounded fisheye effect to it at first. However, I’ve grown to appreciate the “not-so-fisheye” looking effect as this adapter has basically become a permanent attachment for my camera. And I’d prefer some shots not to have a “curvy” appearance. Overall, I like it. It does exactly what I wanted it to do and helps me have a placeholder until I can actually afford a wider prime lens in the future.

I’m an amateur photographer, and this was an inexpensive way for me to experiment with different lens angles. The wide angle worked well, but I had trouble with the macro lens. Overall, very satisfied

Will start this off by stating, I grabbed the 55mm version of this, for use with a couple of my Sony A7 iii lenses. My wife and I are primarily wedding photographers, but landscape and flower shots are what we tend to do for fun. As such, taking photos of flowers isn't rocket science, but unless you're wanting to carry around multiple full size lenses, you have to usually make a compromise. This lens attachment gives your standard lens a little bit more 'ooph' when it comes to macro shots.. adding the ability to get closer than usual, as well as taking in more light, than a standard 'walking around' lens may afford you. For example, in the above photos, the images were captured with a variable 3.5-5.6 lens. Since this is max zoom, these are actually f5.6 images. Normally, to get this shallow of a Depth of Field, I'd have to be shooting with an f2.8 or f2.0. Note the peach colored Asiatic Lily... the focus is actually on the stigma part of the pistil, and everything below that, including the Anther's at the end of the stamen, are at least slightly out of focus. The Dandelion and the daisy are shot at different angles... the Dandelion is almost top down, and the daisy is shot from the edge.. so their foci are very narrow. Now, obviously, there IS a learning curve, when you add this attachment to the lens... in that you can now get significantly closer to your subject, but it ALSO means you're dealing with a much smaller focal point. Another thing to note, is barrel vignetting. Depending on the lens you use with it, you can/will experience barrel vignetting at the wide end. BUT... knowing all of that, and expecting it, you should be able to adjust accordingly. Great tool to add to your every day walking around bag of tricks, or to further enhance your full kit. (I plan to couple this, with a tighter macro/zoom lens, that I would normally shoot wedding bands with, to get MUCH closer shots.) Very happy with the results, here :)

Chromatic Aberrations all over the photos and videos. Bad distortions unlike usual wide angle lens. Degraded quality of image. Mushy details. Overall, waste of money. DO NOT BUY!!!

This is a fisheye lens… provides no improved depth or range. Zero value.
