I use these while teaching high school social studies. The boards erase easily, all the marks clean off well - even red dry erase markers, they are sturdy, double sided, and great for school use. Totally recommend these to any teachers out there wanting to play whiteboard games in class.

Excellent for small group instruction. Be aware that the side that often rests on the desk gets scratched and dirty. You can clean it using hand sanitizer.

I bought these because I wanted to stop wasting so much paper writing notes that were immediately useful, but not necessary to keep long-term. These fit the bill perfectly. The one drawback, if you could call it that, is that because they're so small, even fine tip dry erase markers leave lines thick enough to make writing (vs. drawing) more awkward. It's like trying to take notes on a regular sheet of paper using a Crayola marker. Having markers that replicate the experience of writing with a pen makes using these more enjoyable. That's not enough for me to lower the rating, but it is something others may want to consider. They're pretty thick and the corners are rounded, which are both pluses. My 14 lb cat, who likes to chew the corners of things and who has also completely chewed through the ends of (unplugged) phone charging cables, was only able to put a dent in one of these boards. They're also double-sided, but with dry erase markers, most of what was written on the other side will be smudged off once it's turned over. With the Staedtler markers, I've been able to use both sides and keep most of the writing intact. I normally have about 5 or 6 of them in rotation at any one time; a few are used for my job and a few are used for working on personal projects. I keep the rest as spares for now. In the future, I may glue magnets on a couple of them and mount them around the house.

My husband is hard of hearing and for the past six months we've been doing a lot of pantomime waiting for his hearing test to be conducted. Unfortunately, that test has been postponed twice now, and it doesn't look like it's going to be "on" anytime soon. Thus the purchase of these boards. I decided that instead of trying to yell at him, I'd get these and see if we both couldn't relax a bit - and maybe even have some fun. The boards came well packaged, and all were in good order, free from scratches or nicks. The white surface is smooth and easy to write on with a dry erase pen (not included) and wipe off with a dry cloth (not included). They are thin, but not overly flexible so they are unlikely to break easily. They are a tad slippery, and I'm thinking that since the whiteboard is only on one side (the backside is dark gray) perhaps I'll glue something like non-skid shelf liner on the back of it to make it. I could see using these for homeschooling, for games like Pictionary, and for communicating with people who are hard of hearing as I've described. A really good value in this package for less than four dollars a board, and if you can find it in stock, I recommend getting it.

These boards are fantastic! This is exactly what I was looking for. No need to waste paper when you have white boards. These double-sided white boards are a staple in my kids education. My kids use these when needing scratch paper for any subject. They can be used for demonstrations in large font (writing large) or practice areas before they place it on their workbooks. You get the point. They erase easily and don't stain. They are lightweight and portable.

Boards work great in a classroom!

I got these for use in role playing. with a pack of 12, I had more than enough for my needs: - I hot-glued shelf-liner/grip cloth to four of them for use on the table top. - Every player gets their own to take notes, doodle, etc. A note on the hot glue: I was worried about screwing up the boards by mis-applying glue, but while the glue sticks to the back of the boards, it comes off fairly easily (maybe too easily for long-term use; we'll see). So using hot glue to adhere these to something is a fairly risk-free solution for even temporary needs. The rounded corners are excellent, and make the boards comfortable to hold and transport with no worries about chips in the writing surface OR the skin of people using them. Update 2018/12/14: Just wanted to post a quick update on this. I've continued to use these boards, and they're still 5-star, would buy again for me. I took a couple extra ones to work, and with some ultra-fine-point dry-erase markers they excellent surfaces for drawing out process maps and workflows, jotting down quick notes, organizing thoughts, or just doodling while contemplating the deeper meaning of life, the universe, and everything. I even keep one in my backpack permanently for occasional drawing, and as a rigid divider between some of my less organized junk.

Its good but careful since the edges can peel of in time and you have to worry about ghost marks but can be cleaned of easily with isopropyl alcohol.
