I purchased this bundle in order to do some at home transcription work. The foot pedal works great and the headset works great too and is very comfortable. I had never used Express Scribe prior to ordering this either and I love it! So far I have had no trouble with it playing any audio or videos that have been sent to me. It was very easy to learn to operate. But as other reviewers have said, they do send you the license number for the product in a separate email so watch for that and make sure it doesn't get lost in your spam folder. Overall, great bundle at a great price! I am happy with my purchase.

Pedal works just fine. More simplistic than I anticipated it would be. Just three buttons, but (many) customizable options for each button. Only option I could not find was being able to have the pedal Play without having to hold down the pedal for the duration of the playing audio. I wished for something along the lines of a one tap to play, another tap to pause, sort of function. Pay heed to other reviewers who warn about not deleting the e-mail you'll receive from this company containing the code to fully install the appropriate attendant software. All in all, transcription goes by much more easier with this piece of equipment. PS. Headphones are junk. Will try to send them off to recycling center to collect pennies.

Good working product. The head sets could be bigger or adjustable.

I transcribe minutes for my job and I would be absolutely lost without this pedal. It is user very friendly/plug and play. I use mine 5 days a week and sometimes on the weekend and I haven't had any issues at all.

After careful research using a variety of keywords and the dozens of systems in use to transcribe from voice to text, I settled in the Express Scribe Transcription Foot Pedal Bundle, and 5 days later my order was on my office desk, complete.Surprise number one was being shipped the software online in order to get eveything set up so when the foot bedal and headset arive, all would be ready to go. My fists thought was this was not going to be fun. I had yet to discover a vendor that said everythitng would fit and setup would be no hassle.I've been using my penMP3 for more than five years and it has served me well. But not until recently have I chewed on a project rerquring hours and hours of transcription time... and I hated it! My new project is interviewing veterans to get their life story and publish it in Kindle, or whoever wants it. Maybe just family... maybe a reputable publisher.I installed the software by just following the prompts (later when installing the foot pedal the same, just kept clicking next, next, etc.) No power supply required, the USB system gives it enough and that in itself is a great feature.I cringed at first at the thought of loading software then hardwere since my experience with compters date back to my TRS-80, DOS, CPM serial, and parallel ports, etc. And never was it easy. I can't think of a single installation that did not require one or more calls to those impossible to find customer service centers.But by golly and by jeez, this outfit is miles ahead of the rest of the pack. in minutes I was playing with some recent interviews and I can slow it down without getting that horrible change in vocal tone, and the fact that I was typing while foot to the pedal gave me the confidence that I was on the right track for the future project that will consume moste of my time. But now, it will be a pleasant activity, that of transcribing.Whoever organized this bundle deserves a medal. It appears to be three vendors, the software, foot pedal and headset. Kind of breaking a paradigm. I suspect Amazon people created the bundle... it's their kind of challenge.Like I said, the best online transaction ever.

I am training in a certificate course for transcription so I can work home online, and everything has worked perfectly. Expess scribe seems to be one of the more popular software to use. The only worry I have is if I have to get a new computer, I don't think it will transfer over. I'm not sure about that. But, the pedal and headset alone were worth it, for the price, IMO.

Okay. Here's the deal. I think the product is fine and that it works great. It is also reasonable compared to other transcribing equipment/products on the market.However, I do have gripes and I really hate griping! The picture that Amazon has for you is not reflective of what you get. Yes…you get the foot pedal and the headset. Great! But the box that it comes in is totally different. Okay, so you say, “No big deal.” You’re absolutely right. It is no big deal because as long as the equipment works, I’m happy. I really don’t care what box it comes in.But here are the biggest gripes that I have. The foot pedal comes alone—no instructions, no software, no nothing. I plugged the thing into my USB port and the computer found the device. However, it did not work because I needed software. They didn't tell me that but it does make sense, right? So, I went back online to see that others had commented on the fact that no software was provided and that they had to go to a website to download it. That’s fine. I don’t mind doing that. I will say, though, if someone hadn't put the name of the company that developed the software in their review, it may have been difficult to find, as the name of the foot pedal and headphone equipment was not the name of the website that I needed to go to.Also, beware. From the developer’s own website: “The software will operate as a trial version for a limited time after it is first installed. During this trial period, all features of Express Scribe Pro are available. When the trial expires, you must purchase a license from the secure, online purchase page to continue using the advanced features of Express Scribe Pro.” So maybe it is not that great of a deal after all. So the big gripe is…PEOPLE, give us instructions and make it very clear as to what we are purchasing! That’s all. We’d be much happier customers with a little direction and then I could give you 5 stars instead of 3 stars and we’d all be happy campers. Do you hear me now?
