Fantastic product once you know how... I have installed these in every room in my house so have become custom to how to get them working correctly. A few points for anyone purchasing them - When installing make sure you get some spacers for the back of the switch unless your back box is 45mm+ they are a large unit. Ensure when screwing them down that they are not overly tight, you need to make sure the plastic doesn't bend otherwise the touch sensor won't pick your finger up as well as it should. Use dimmable bulbs! This stops the flickering. The best thing by all means is to use a neutral if you can but the little yellow box does work with dimmable bulbs. Make sure your router is set to 2.4g, you can change it back after to both 5g and 2.4g but when pairing it must be set to 2.4 only I use alexa for mine alot and they take less than a second to turn off, I've also paired 2 together to use upstairs/downstairs and this also works well. I dare say that 80% of the bad feedback on these is them being installed incorrectly. The only other thing to note is wet fingers - a scream from upstairs alerted me to this... if your hands are really wet and you end up getting the glass wet you will end up with a disco, the light will switch on and off continuously until its dry - this had only happened once though!

Works well. App allows remote function from anywhere once the switch is connected to wifi.

Well, have to say, this is the worst switch my highly skilled engineer father has ever had to install, probably not all the switches fault. But most of it is. In the UK, houses mostly do not have the earth wire in the light wall switches, but there is one running to the light itself. So Father had to install it on the roof, next to my ceiling fan/ light unit to access the earth wire. He installed it just fine, even if its appearance was now an unsightly box stuck on the roof, instead of a nice flush box in the wall switches fault, which he used as an isolator, to cut all power from the switch. It did fit under the fan blades, just. In two years, I have had to replace it four times. All from connectivity issues. It connected to the network first time on new. After that, it decided to drop connection and my Alexa units were telling me they were having trouble connecting. I had to go through 2 hours of trouble shooting each time to get them to connect again, and mostly, they ended up in the bin, big expense. Last time I connected it to my ‘compatibility’ network for older devices as devices having trouble connecting usually have a better time with it. It’s slower, but a switch doesn’t need a fast network. However, when I did have it working on that network, I asked Alexa to turn on the light, and it took one full minute to turn on. But it was working. Until it didn’t again, and this time, no matter how much troubleshooting I did, it would not connect back to any of my networks. So now my not very pleased aged Engineer Father is now having to come and replace it, again! This time, I have found a new company on here that does them at half the price. Same wiring, same app to connect to Alexa. So I am moving away from this company, and I suggest that you do too, or better still, if you haven’t bought one from these people yet, don’t. I can guarantee disappointment. I highly do not recommend this product.

We'd had a more traditional timer light switch for a long time ()the type with the clock/programmer built into the switch) and whilst it worked find with incandescent bulbs, using any sort of low energy (either CFD or LED) the bulb would flicker. when off. I really wanted to fix this issue so I needed a to replace it with a switch that would support "no neutral" operation. I had bought a switch a year or so ago and whilst it worked with LED bulbs with no flicker I could not get the app to connect in any way despite trying both an Android and Apple phone and had to return it I decided to give it another go and selected this device. This looks sleek and elegant and has a well made appearance. I'm not 100% sure about the 2 colour LED indication (Blue off, Orange on) but its not awful - that's just personal taste What I tried differently this time was that it can be really awkward to set up when they are fixed to the wall and you may need to keep removing and refitting. so I made a small rig to power the switch and bulb on the desk. This meant that it was very easy to set up the switch quickly and safely without having to keeping switching the light ring off at the consumer unit Using this meant that I got the switch set up, programmed and running very quickly, and I could then fit the switch in the wall and the job was done. My wall box was deep enough as well - check before buying as these type of units do need a deeper than standard switch box Since then its worked fine and I am pleased with it On the slightly negative side, I did have trouble initially connecting the phone as the behaviour I had did not match the instructions, for example the LED colour and behaviour did not match - in the end it "sort of happened" and I am not quite sure how Secondly when I initially set it up I did not create an account. About 2 months later I got a new phone and tried to set that up with the app again and creating an account. I went from an Android 9 or10 phone to Android 13. I have failed totally so far to connect on the newer phone. it gets so far and then fails at the last point. I have tried switching my router to 2.4G only and all the other suggestions but it will just not connect. I still have the older phone so I need to keep this for setting the switch. This is really irritating because I think if my new phone had connected I'd have bought 1 or 2 more of these. I will have another go but it seems like a lot of hard work for something that shouldn't have been And it was worth me making the test rig as that made setting it up a lot less painful So overall 4 stars - lost the star for the app and connectivity issues

I'm really impressed with these switches, they look incredible. Setup was really easy & integrate easily with my Google home setup. They work straight away with voice commands. If you don't have deep back boxes you can purchase spacers with them, which adds 10 mm depth from the wall. I would recommend these switches to anyone who wants a modern smart home.

Looks good but responsiveness of the switches decreased over time, to the point I can now only control it via the app or voice commands. Messaged the seller who in fairness was quick to respond. Powering off and on the lighting circuit to reset the switch has resolved the problem for now. It worries me that this was needed, will see how things go and update the review if it happens again.

The switch itself looks good and seems to be well made. The switch was easy to fit. I bought the 3 gang switch and followed the instructions and fitted the Neutral Capacitor as i did not have a neutral wire. I did have issues getting this to connect via the Tuya app and was about to give up when it connected. Overall i am very pleased with this switch and would recommend it.

I fitted two of these 3 gang switches. Easy to connect and setup. Linked to Alexa with ease and they work really well. I did read some reviews before hand and noticed that a lot found that the touch buttons didn’t work. I had the same problem with the first switch I fitted. I soon found that, if you over tighten the switch to the wall box, the main switch plates distorts slightly. Once the front glass is placed, you have to add extra pressure to operate the switch. I removed the glass cover, loosened the switch very slightly and refitted the glass cover. Now works great. Anyone finding the same problem should be aware of this very minor issue. It’s probably not a faulty item.
