It will not penetrate, so, no. I will never paint pressure treated wood again. It needs to be stained. Painting it ruins it. Stain gets into the wood and rejuvenates it.

No. You may have to shake it, but the consistency was much thicker than water.

Yes, but it is more even with a cheap airless sprayer.
