Fast, no splatter! Great little machine!
Several reviews mention that this coffee maker takes a long time -- up to two minutes -- to brew a cup of coffee. Some reviews suggest you go do a little something else while you wait. Other reviews say (and a few show) that the machine splatters water everywhere. Some say it's loud. I'm not saying that those scenarios are not true. Some pictures even prove it. In fact, I was a little hesitant to hit the "order" button for fear of these issues. However, none of these issues has been a problem since this little machine was plugged in at our newly outfitted dining room coffee bar. This machine brews INSTANTLY, as fast as our big Keurig in the kitchen. And NO SPLATTER. Clean as a whistle. And noise? Well, I don't remember the noise, which means it's the same as or even quieter than our big kitchen Keurig. I was also pleasantly surprised to feel how heavy the machine is. I don't know what I was expecting. Maybe something that was as lightweight (disturbingly so) as our new, very basic toaster. But this thing has sufficient heft to it, looks great on our coffee bar cabinet, makes coffee in a snap, and I think it even has an auto-off after brewing. (I say "I think" because I don't remember turning the machine off after brewing my cup and when I returned to the machine a few minutes later, the "on" button wasn't lit.) This little machine just makes my day, one cup at a time. I love it! UPDATE: The machine failed this morning. I've only had the coffee brewer since September 19, 2024, which as of this writing, is only a month and a half. I brew one cup per day in the machine, so I would say it gets light use. This morning, distracted, I forgot to put water in the reservoir prior to hitting Brew. As soon as I realized that there was no water, I lifted the lid to stop the brewing, put water in the reservoir and hit Brew. It failed to brew and instead, turned off. I tried a new K-Cup and started over. Still turned off. I unplugged the machine. It still turned off and would not brew. I called Keurig customer service to troubleshoot, figuring there is an easy solution to this issue. After a few questions, they determined that the machine is faulty and said to return it. The upshot: it worked well up until it didn't. Maybe it was operator error, as I forgot to put water in the reservoir. But our big main Keurig machine doesn't have that issue. After some reading, we discovered that this little machine, in its stripped-down design, doesn't have a "water low" warning and the elements burn out easily/quickly. So I don't know if it was operator error that caused the issue or if the machine is prone to this issue and it would have burned out anyway. We take good care of our appliances and gently/carefully use them. I am now hesitant to reorder this machine. It seems sensitive and not able to take regular, human use without breaking down.

Recommended.
Recommended. Small. Easy. Convenient. Quick. Consistent. Hot. No settings, just on/off/auto-off. Easy clean. Remains to be seen if it holds up. 50K units sold is a good indicator of quality.

Great single serve machine
I had to get my own personal machine after getting diagnosed with celiac since my family uses pods and grounds that could contain gluten in the communal machine. It works as it should and brews at an average speed. The instructions were easy and straight forward. The lid/top functions well and feels sturdy. It took some adjustment getting used to the single serve style machine since it just has the power and brew button, the size of brew is determined by the amount of water you add each time. It's a bit messy when it brews if you are using a standard size mug and not a tall travel mug since it splashes out of the cup onto the machine. I like the size and style of machine though since its easy to clean and wipe down. I'm not sure if sometimes it brews too hot because my coffee tastes and smells burnt sometimes, and other times it doesn't. It's a bit expensive in my opinion but it works great for what it is and I like the color options, I got the green and it's a beautiful jewel tone.

Simple & Solid
We were in search of a small, basic Keuring as we are getting the office set up in early stages. Not only did this fit the bill, it came in a primary color for our business! Sweet bonus! Works great, brews quick, and even can accommodate brewing directly into a travel cup! If you are looking for an economical, simple, and efficient K-Cup machine, look no further!

As Others Have Said, Seems to Have a “3 Month” Life
… and then it simply DIES. I rarely bother to write reviews but when I do it’s because I’ve seen others say the same thing and I hope the manufacturer will address the (obvious) quality control issue. And I like to make myself laugh. Read on. In this case, the machine is fine for about three months. I’ve bought two of these. Both last only about 3 months. Thought surely this last newest one would show that the first failed one was a fluke. Can’t return after 30 days so you get stuck with a nonfunctioning machine at around 3 months. That’s it. I contacted Kuerig directly online (form) and as others have said, no go. Told Keurig I bought from Amazon etc. Keurig emailed back asking me to CALL to troubleshoot. There is nothing about this simple unit TO troubleshoot. It just stops working. There is nothing to “take apart” or “order a part for,” and, frankly, a simple one-button machine like this would not be “worth” an involved “troubleshooting” call with Keurig, IMHO. Still, I wanted to “troubleshoot” so badly I called. (Kidding! No way was I going to waste time on a pointless call with them; instead I decided to waste my time writing this fake call dialogue for your (and my own) amusement: Me: “Hello Kuerig, as I said in my contact form to you, I did not want to call over something I know already and told you already: that my single serve Keurig machine is dead, after 3 months. Just dead. This is the second one that died at 3 months. I see a pattern. Do you? This is a ridiculously simple machine. Two buttons.” Keurig: “Please tell me, have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in again? Did you turn on the power button, then put a cup of water in it, and then drop a K-pod into the pod hole, then close the lid down on the pod, and hit the huge brew button on the top?” Me: Of course I did. We all did. The machine worked for almost 3 months and then suddenly did NOT work. As I said. I’ve now bought two machines exactly like this one so far, and the same thing happened to both. They croak around three months in. Is there really something to ‘troubleshoot’ here? Two buttons.” Keurig: “Sorry for the problems you are having. Perhaps you can hire a 2-button coffee maker-engineer or a mechanically-gifted person to assist you with plugging it in, adding a cup of water, dropping a pod in, turning the power button on, then closing the lid down on the pod, and pressing the big brew button on the top of the machine.” Me: “Yes thank you so much! I already did that. They both said the machine just croaked, also. They noticed, as I did, that there are only buttons. It is so complex. Wow. An ‘on’ buttom, and a huge round ‘brew’ button. It is incredibly tricky to operate! So, it is no wonder that the two of these machines I bought have done this!. They last about three months and then one day they just die.” Keurig: “Can you give us the serial numbers of these machines so we can troubleshoot with you over the phone for an hour or so? It sounds like maybe you don’t actually *know* how to plug the machine in, add water and a pod, then close the lid down onto the pod and press the power button (“on”), and then press the large ‘brew’ button on top of the machine. There are two buttons on these machines. And there is a plug.” Me: “I know the machine is quite complicated, what with the “on” button that lights when pressed, and the huge “brew” button on top. That’s a very advanced and confusing array of buttons. The plug is also confusing. But I persevered and figured out it goes into the electrical outlet on the wall. And, luckily, I attended a decent college and have advanced degrees in 2-button home appliance usage. So I was able to determine that the units fail completely at around 3 months, even *without* looking at the serial number.” (Note: Amazon made this right for me, at least to the second machine, not Kuerig. YMMV.) Conclusion: I will not be buying another of these single-serve Keurigs, and my serial numbers go with me to my grave. Revenge is sweet. Good luck, people. Pro Tip: KNOW your two buttons, most importantly. This machine is NOT for beginners. Heh.

The perfect MINI
This mini Keurig is designed to fit in small spaces. It’s smaller than the original mini which is awesome for travel or living in a small space like I do,I live in an apartment. It’s also designed a bit differently when it comes to the water reservoir it’s a smaller tank but it displays the exact amount of water to fill in ounces for the amount of coffee that you would like to make so you just add water! It’s made out of a nice plastic material, it doesn’t feel cheap. The lid closure and cup capacity are about the same other than the button that you press on top its just one simple button rather than the size that you would like to drink. I think this is a great purchase. It does what it’s supposed to do. It looks cute. It’s small as instructed and it makes a perfect cup of coffee!

Sleek, quick, and easy
My (very) old basic no-frills Keurig was working fine until someone else used it to make coffee around New Year's, and suddenly it would not automatically shut off. I tried some troubleshooting maneuvers (cleaning, de-scaling, button-pushing), but no luck. I know I got my money's worth out of it. So I decided to retire it and again ordered the new single-serve very basic model. It's slimmer and sleeker, and easier to use than the old one. I ordered the dark green one (TBH I think I was just tired of black appliances) and a quick rummage found a green mug to go with. I don't drink coffee; I mainly use it to give me hot water, and I add the tea after (and this being Florida, there are only maybe 7 days a year that are cold enough to warrant drinking a hot bev). I rarely use the pod holder. It's adorable and actually takes up a little less room than the old one. It's very quick and quiet, works great. Only thing I don't like is that the cord is very short, maybe a foot shorter than the old one. So I have to use an extension cord, which I'm really not happy about. But I'm not really up to rearranging the furniture.
