Major brand performance with inexpensive China cost - whats not to like?
Disclaimer: I own a slightly larger Dominic that I paid nearly 3-4x the price for a handful of years ago that has similar features (excepting it does not have BT control).- Plus among the smallest compressor freezer/fridges @ 10L and while costing 2-3x the 'cooler/warmer' type portable units, these compressor models will work at just about any temperature and work FAST.- Speaking of fast, I loaded up 4 bottles of water (71F) and set the unit for 34F and MAX. It cooled to the set point in a mere 30min!! Impressive!- Unit comes with BOTH a 12/24V cord for standard car (or power block) Lighter outlet AND a separate AC adapter cord (and power brick) that can be plugged into a household wall outlet.- Noise wise, it barely makes any while doing the cooling.- Given that just about everything is made in China these days, this unit offers similar (+more) features of more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost.- Minus: while it is a bit heavier than I was hoping my only gripe is that the 16oz water bottles I bought for it have to be set in on their side rather than standing up because of the lack of depth in the compartment. However 16oz and 12oz cans can be fitted standing up.- While the lid is described as 'latching' I was assuming there would be a level or button to press but it is only a 'friction' type (bumps on the lid) holding it closed.- I thought of grabbing a image of a poorly installed screw in the bottom which appears to have split the plastic case. Not a big deal but speaks to the workmanship of the unit.- The unit has 4 large circle indentations on the bottom that would be perfect for rubber feet, something that they could of included from the factory but at this price point it is understandable that they did not.Personally, I plan on having this unit travel with me on the passenger seat of my car or truck. When I have a companion it will plug in and set behind the front seats so my passenger can play 'drink tender' while traveling. After a bit of use/testing a few additional comments:With a set point of 34F and ~68-72F ambient around the unit it maintained 32-38F over a 14hr test period. It would seem that it over shoots a bit on the cooling and waits 3-4F before starting a cooling cycle.Just for kicks and grins I plugged it into a ~300Wh power brick during this time which drew ~40% of the bricks capacity over 14 hour period. (fridge/freeze set to 34F and ECO cooling) Granted I was not taking items in/out of it during this time and it was indoors, out of direct sun and my house was ~68-72F during this period.Users wishing to use a power brick to operate this unit would need to consider ether bricks with higher storage capacity and/or methods of replenishing the power bricks charge.Of note thankfully if the unit is ON, power cycling the source power (IE: unplugging and replugging the unit back in) the unit defaults to ON. So if using a switched car lighter output the fridge/freezer will automatically turn back on after refueling and/or cycling the car/truck on/off/on.*** 6/16/2024 Update ***Ok, I'll admit that I DO NOT use this 24/7 however it basically 'lives' on the passenger seat of my truck. With that said it gets used while traveling which amounts to a few hours a handful or more times a month. :)- The 'friction lock' on the lid was more annoying then useful so early on I grabbed a knife and cut the 'bumps' on the lid off so that it can be opened/closed freely+easy with one hand.- In my installation the cab has outlets in the front AND back seats so I just routed the power cord to the back seat outlet so I could use the dash outlet for other electronics.- While cute/novel the BT function is not something I used beyond the initial inspection/setup.- If I were to choose again I'd be looking at models where the beverages could be STANDING UP rather than laying down. I'll generally carry 3 types of beverages so to avoid 'digging' lay them inside A/B/C on top of A/B/C. :)My unit has lived an easy life on the passenger seat of my truck and turns on when ever I start my truck. No matter the ambient temp of the CAB it will cool the drinks inside the fridge/freezer to the set point < 30min.*** Warning Note ***While this MIGHT BE an issue with ALL "Compressor Fridge/Freezers" as they all have a similar fairly USELESS "low voltage disconnect" that is intended to protect your battery from over discharge. IMHO: from practical experience even the 'high' setting allows your vehicle battery to run to far down. Even worse is if you paired one of these devices with a LFP battery which has a discharge curve making even a +12.5V disconnect TO LATE!!These compressor fridge/freezers ought to be only used on a SWITCHED outlet (that turns OFF when the engine is not running!), watched/monitored carefully when the engine is not running OR simply UNPLUGGED when the engine is not running.I see that the price for the 10Qt has even DROPPED since I bought my copy.

C9 Model
I have the 10 Qt. Perfect size for on the floorboard of the passenger side or behind the seats. Great size for a nomad car camper and just 45watts. Very light and portable, maybe 10lbs. Good for 1-2 people. Great for a picnic, medicines, cold drinks, lunch, small pkgd items. The casing is sturdy and there are air vents in the back and on both sides. The lid fit solid with a nice seal and had sturdy locking lip so it would not open if cooler was tipped. Control panel is simple to use. There is an app that can be downloaded to monitor and/or adjust temperatures for min max cold and has a lock feature. I mention the lock feature because another reviewer said it would be nice to have a cover for the panel incase stuff packed on top hits a button and adjust temps. I agree, a cover would be a nice feature to the control panel for protective purposes rather than rely upon an app to lock the control panel. There does not seem to be a lock feature on the control panel manually, its only featured on the app.As per instructions it recommends sitting the fridge level for 6 hours before plugging in. The instructions were confusing because with all the models listed, not all instructions applied to every model. Once I realized my model, that made everything much easier and I could narrow in on what applied to my fridge and what did not.Came with accessories shown. Plugged it in to the wall outlet, read 65 degrees, I set it to -4 and put a bottled water inside and let it work. It went from 65 to 20 in an hour. The next hour it went from 20 to a -3 and then the last 20 minutes it hit -4. Less than 2.5 hours to go from 65 to -4! I checked the water bottle and it was in slushy mode, ready to freeze solid in about another hour-fifteen minutes. I put a thermometer inside and it registered correctly. At this point I turned it off to now test how long it would stay cool for. It lasted 11 hours! I think having the partially frozen water bottle contributed to it staying cold longer than the 10 hrs manufacturer states. With the carrying cover, it may stay even longer with the insulation. Just a thought. Also I am sure all these temps will alter depending on the surrounding temperature of the fridge.Needless to say, I am pleased with this fridge/freezer/cooler!I really like it for my needs and for $120, its a good value.

Great
Very happy with purchase. Used it on a two-month trip, it's held up so far. Can even make it a freezer and used it that way for a 3-day trip, worked fine. We plug it into a battery, which charges while driving. Pleased with the purchase. Noise level is fine, we slept in the vehicle with the battery right under my head!

Excellent for the price, everything you need, and it works ad advertised.
This 4 star rating is relative to price. Of course, you'll get better for more money, but this is all you need.PROS: Works as advertised. I'm enjoying a fridge and freezer on 12v. Construction is excellent for the price, everything is durable and easy to assemble with the provided screwdriver. Don't use power tools for the handle screws, you'll strip the plastic. I love that each chamber has an old-fashioned drain plug, and you can still use this as an ice cooler if needed. Fan/compressor are fairly quiet, enough to sleep nearby. I can get about 2 days of no compromise cooling with fridge and freezer out of a Bluetti AC180.CONS:-Controls are pretty terrible, like 90's vcr settings. They only partially match the instructions, and I wasted about 15 minutes patiently learning how bad the interface is (hint, try pressing two buttons simultaneously more than the instructions indicate. That's all I remember that saved me). Still, it works once you figure it out. Vevor has a more upscale model that uses a bluetooth app, so this entry level control box is the bare minumum.-Dark color looks nice, but absorbs sunlight, making the fridge work harder to stay cool. I'd love an all-gray version.-Temperature seems a bit optimistic, so you have to remember to set it lower than wanted. I have the fridge set to 27 and the freezer to -4. I think those temps are closer to 32 and 0, which is perfect for me.
